Easy location to find with plenty of parking. It's the oldest restaurant in Wisconsin from 1848. The entrance is a little tight but they are handicapped accessible. Our waiter was a personable middle aged man with a warm smile and a raspy voice named Ryan, who I highly recommend . Erin is the assistant general manager who was pleasant to work with for a future event that I am planning. We were able to try new foods and a delicious pickled vegetables with two different breads for snacking. The escargot was exceptional with the puff pastry instead of mushroom caps which I'm allergic too. I ordered the scallops, my wife got the filet and my mother in law ordered the New York Strip and both steaks were cooked to the correct temperature. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and retirement so the restaurant comped her a free lemon cream brûlée which sounded so good I had to have my own. My mother in law had the Grasshopper Torte. I am looking forward to our next visit because I tried something that I had never eaten or heard of, which was sunchoke and it was superb, mixed the other ingredients in the brown butter scallops. YES I will order it again.

The bar area and drinks were nice. Our server was friendly and made good drinks. Dinner and our server were excellent too. We shared a meal and had an a lovely wine. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or to just enjoy an evening together.

Food and service were great. Pan fried walleye was so good. They happily accomodated meal adjustments to my liking. Please try, you wont be dissappointed.

The Rib eye steak was great but for the Special of Prime Rib was awful. Never saw such a piece of meat before. Fat end was a good inch thick but the meat end was not even a quarter inch thick. Took my son out to eat after we left. Also when we arrived had to find someone to get seated. No Red Circle as we know

Stopped in for dinner at the bar. Kurt was the bartender, he was fabulous! Down to earth & funny. Made delicious drinks as well. We had the French onion soup, crab cake slider, small wedge salad, beef stroganoff, & oyster Rockefeller toast. It was all Very tasty!

This was our first time back since the change in ownership and we were all disappointed in our four different meals. Initial red flag is when your choice of steak is accompanied with a sauce. With any well prepared-and more importantly-quality cut of steak-the meat should stand on its own. Unfortunately there was no flavor or seasoning to each cut of steak. We wanted to try a little of everything-appetizers to dessert, and we will not be back. The quality just isn't there.

From the young, super-friendly, super-helpful hostess to the wonderful ambiance and food, everything was 5 stars. Our waitress was so friendly, and funny, and knew the menu to perfection. We had thee best steaks, stroganoff, crab claws, oysters, escargot and roasted brussel sprouts. After dinner drinks were a Bailey's martini (absolutely perfect and delicious) and a Grasshopper (equally perfect and delicious). Thank you for your spot on attention to detail and one of the best meals we've had in a long time~Mary and Randy Burian

We started out our Valentine's Day meal with a porter beer for me and a Cabernet for my wife. We then had a large Caesar salad which we split between the two of us. The bread was delicious and were vegetables (asparagus and broccolini) and a couple of different spreads. I ordered a small beef tenderloin with bourbon peppercorn sauce and hashbrowns. My wife ordered the beef stroganoff. In addition, we had brussels sprouts with pork belly and andorange glaze on top. I finished it off with a black coffee which was strong; just the way I like it.

Caesar's salad was only average. Zinfandel wine was not good. Cabernet sauvignon was good. Beef stroganoff was good. Apple tart was excellent. Ambience was dated. Noise level was too loud.

First time there. From the front young guy to the waiter, everything was perfect. Great place, great service, delicious food and drinks. I missed more dessert options but that's fine. I will try it again, for sure. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was excellent. Some of the best escargot I've ever had. The duck, stroganoff and pork chop was top notch. The pheasant was a tad bit over done. Look forward to coming back.

If you are looking for explosions of flavors in your mouth..look no further. Our group of 4 started off with some tasty whisky and brandy old fashioned's in their very cool throw back looking vintage bar. We ordered the very different but amazing French Onion soup, succulent scallops, the extremely tender palate pleasing rib eye, the fantastic beef stroganoff (I could eat an entire plate of just the meat with it's layers upon layers of flavors while eating it), and a side of the delicious mashed potatoes. Our server Kayla was super friendly and had a great sense of humor. Our group goes from supper club to supper club in Wisconsin to review and taste test, and this one checks off every single box! A very well oiled machine and highly recommended. We don't typically go to the same ones more than once, but we would be willing to make an exception for Red Circle Inn!

Stopped with friends to repay them for keeping us warm during the great blizzard of '24 when the power went out. I've passed the Red Circle many times, but never stopped to learn anything about it. Turns out it's a pretty darn good restaurant.Service was excellent. We were greeted in the 'foyer' and had our coats checked, and we were seated immediately. Drinks arrived quickly, and our glasses were always full. As a hydro-homie in training, that's important.Food was delicious. The escargot in puff pastry is on the short list of 'best things I've ever had'. The steak entrées were enjoyed by all. Portions were small, which necessitated dessert. This was a wonderful stop for an upscale dinner. The only minor critiques I could find were ambiance and portion sizes. The interior was clean but a tad bland. It was nice, but not $100/person nice. Portion sizes were also mildly disappointing. Still a 5-star stop, but when comparing to other local top shelf dining establishments, these were areas that maybe only rated 80%.

We had our company holiday party at Red Circle Inn last night and it was nothing short of amazing! The Provimi Room was gorgeous and decorated beautifully. The food was fantastic, we had the beef tenderloin, roasted chicken, baked potatoes, veggies, and the BEST dessert spread. The culinary team outdid themselves. Lexi, Julia, Kyle, Erin, & Curt were such pleasant, kind, and fun staff! We truly could not have asked for a better evening!
