I came here with a friend (after a local recommendation). I really enjoyed the true “Wisconsin feel” of this place, almost like the perfect setting for a TV show. I like the laid back vibes here. Their Al Capone Burger (an Italian sausage patty stuffed with pepperoni and olives, then covered with mozzarella and marinara) was so good. Kind of a cozy atmosphere, smack in the corner of New Berlin…literally on the edge of the city limits.

Went there on a Sunday morning. The morning after my last shift as a firefighter with a bunch of my coworkers. Great experience. They had the cook come in early for us to make some pizzas and apps. Pizzas were awesome like always. Bartender was also amazing. She did a great job keeping up with our crowd and made some tasty drinks.

Pizza was excellent. Garlic cheese bread was disappointing. Crowd was unfriendly (particularly one guy who was super preachy). Service was dog sh*t. Not worth going a second time. I would not recommend this place unless you are already "one of them."

The Varsity Club is a typical small sports bar. My wife and I went to try their fish. I had the fish fry and my wife had the baked fish with the clam chowder. We both had potato pancakes. The place was crowded and very noisy, it was hard to have a conversation. The clam chowder soup was very good. The baked fish was good, but the fried fish was dry. The tarter sauce had a strange taste, but was okay. The potato pancakes were almost burned. The cole slaw was good. The service was good and the price was 13.95 for each, the soup was extra. Overall, we were disappointed.

The pizza was great, but the garlic cheese bread was awful. Service was not good. We walked in and the bartenders barely gave us the time of day. We decided to order via phone and wait outside. We then had to listen to some drunk loudly talk politics to some young girls while others smoked cig right next to the front door and stunk the sitting area up. Went in to get our order and we were once again completely ignored by the workers. Guy who finally helped us after we got his attention was very odd acting. Kinda seems like if you aren’t a local or a normal customer they don’t really care. Definitely won’t go back but the pizza was delicious.

Great thin crust pizza! $1 small pitchers of beer with pizza purchase on Thursday nights!People smoking weed inside. Thought smoking anything inside a bar was illegal?! That's Waukesha County for ya!Parking: Limited parking in lot.

I love the food here but the clientele are creepy and hit on anyone under 30 aggressively and this place constantly puts on obnoxious biker events that draw a crowd of rowdy old pathetic men who like to rev their bikes and disturb the surroundings. If this place didn’t attract the most annoying types of people it would actually be super cool.
