“My family and I came to Green Bay for a Raiders vs Packers game, and stayed in Champion. We were staying nearby and decided to give this place a shot. We were not disappointed! We actually ended up going here each day that we were in the area, and the bar and regulars treated us like family. The atmosphere is that of a local dive bar, with a pool table in the back, a long u-shaped bar, and some booths around the perimeter, as there is a full kitchen as well. The drinks are well-priced, and if you catch him at the right time, the owner may even do a shot with you! They also have locally-sourced food and special dishes on certain days of the week. The fried chicken and the burgers were very good. I would definitely recommend this place, and will definitely try to make a trip to the area again just to hang out here. Cheers to Randy!“
“It seemed more like a clubhouse. Regulars all know one another and everyone stares when someone thats new comes in. The food is good. Waitresses are attentive. Sit at a table because if you sit at the bar you will likely be in one of the regular's spots. Their Reuben's and French Dips are good.Parking: Plenty parking except when they have a special event and they set up large tent in the parking lot.“
“Went for a family wedding, venue was clean and staff was friendly. They were very responsive with refilling food for family style meal. Only miss with the dinner was they didn't come around to refill water or have pitchers on the tables. Also have to park pretty far away in a gravel parking lot for bigger events“
“To get in, they have these blue fabric things kinda hung funny over the entrance to what im guessing is the smokers patio this time of year. Because of the way they were attached, it was a little weird trying to actually get in the building.Just had burgers to eat, and they were ok. The buns crumble and slide off the burger patty, making it tough to eat without getting it on you. The patty tasted a little plain, too, but it wasn't bad.Service was just ok. It was very slow for how many people were there working. One of the three bartenders walked past my empty bottle on the rail three or four times so she could talk to the server at the end of the bar, which i was three feet away from, about something very much not work related. That wasn't super impressive, but not a deal breaker, i guess. It was good, not great. With all of the other options around, I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to go back.“
“We stop here every time we head north from Sheboygan to golf and this place is phenomenal ! Food is great and if you stop during the afternoon Brittany is hands down one of the best bartenders you could ever ask for! We frequent alot of establishments around the state and in my opinion she is the BEST! Thanks for being you Brittany....see you next golf season“
“4.25/5 Pretty good bar out in Dyckesville. Got some cheese curds and a double UV Blue & seltzer. All in all, $13.39 + tip. Nice person at the bar, quiet enough, not busy. Cheese curds were okay and a bit expensive for what they were. Definitely the best (and, really, as it stands currently, only) bar in Dyckesville. I'd definetely recommend giving it a shot.“
“These are wonderful people. Besides that, they fry eggs perfectly (don't scoff, an actual over easy egg [vs raw or hard as sludge] that is seasoned perfectly with butter, salt and pepper, is a gift from the gods). Their "breakfast" croissant is a thing of beauty. The ham one is so good for a comfort breakfast (I'm talking hangovers, people, and like, exhausted from kids, sick with cold, etc.), AND it's an awesome lunch or dinner. We do take out only so to have someone make good homecooked food that tastes great as takeout is really appreciated. Thank you.“
“Food is great. 1/4lb. The burger is big enough for me and an order of fries wow.The kicker was we each had a bowl of delicious chicken dumpling soup. Huge bowl and so filling with nice big dumplings, it really filled us up. There was only enough room for half of the hamburger and some fries. The place is somewhat noisy and the table was very tippy and rocked. The servers were fantastic and friendly“
“I’m a hard sell for any restaurantVery nice diamond in the ruffDrinks are very reasonably pricedFood is great and reasonably pricedService was warm and very friendlyAtmosphere was calm comfortable and easy going even for a Saturday dinner rush & full house with a steady turnoverI was pleasantly surprised and happy to say itVegetarian options: Didn’t look I like meat ?Kid-friendliness: FriendlyParking: Plenty of roomWheelchair accessibility: Smaller place but I would say accessible“
“Seven of us stopped in for a late lunch on our way to Ellison Bay. We had a few of their hand-made pizzas, a brat and burger sandwich spaghetti and meatballs. Everyone of us left very happy and full. The pizzas had great, crispy crust and were loaded with toppings. My brat/hamburger was very good. I would stop here again.“
“First time ever had a bad experience. The French fries were burnt and told the bartender mike, and he said" some people like them crispy!!" Not what I expected from him!! Maybe a sorry or something???? I did not and do not expect anything free, but a mistake is as simple as that. Hopefully your not an owner because it isn't what a good one would do! Hopefully it gets better because I will not return and will not recommend it either!“
“One of our favorite stops! Kevin and his family owned business making dining a welcome experience in the Green Bay Area. You'll feel at home in the "backwoods" type atmosphere and local flare. The menu provides a great variety from kid choices, to appetizers, burgers, steak and so much more. You can go for a casual bite or a more high end experience if you'd like. Also, highly recommend the Sunday Brunch! Be sure to notice the smells when you walk in from the old school style fire place just before you enter!Kid-friendliness: Kid menus available.“
“We were traveling in Brown County looking for waterfalls. It was time to nosh. My sweet wife had found Black Sheep online and we headed there. Walked in the door and was hit with a decibel level thatwas near unbearable ( why does everyone think they have to shout at the top of their lungs?). We almost left. Then a perky hostess approached us, we had to talk into each other's ears to be heard. We were seated at a nice table and given menus by a friendly and capable waitress. We ordered spinach flatbread and onion rings. My lemonade was delicious. Our food was very good and we were happily full when we were done eating. The pizzas we saw were well made and tempting.Place reminded me of Brix in Manitowoc. A noisy restaurant/bar with TV's at every angle. But despite the cacophony the food and service were top notch. If you can handle the noise this place is definitely worthy of your patronage.Vegetarian options: Appetizers and pizzasParking: Huge parking lot“
“We were here for a wedding last night. The food was delicious! The staff was over the top great. Very attentive and cleared the tables very fast. The baked chicken!!! Omggggg fall off the bone delicious! The mashed potatoes were so good too! I’m actually getting hungry thinking about how good the food was! The bartenders were attentive. The venue is beautiful. It was a beautiful day!“
“I don't normally write reviews but this is an exceptional case. I had about 45 min to kill before an appointment and stumbled in at lunch time to grab a burger. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The people were very friendly and made me feel right at home. They were very busy catering a Bachelorette party so I feared I was going to miss lunch again. Well, I was greeted with open arms as they squeezed me in and made me the BEST Patty Melt on Rye I've had in a long time. Amy was beautiful, accommodating, and I was on my way in about 35 min. I am going back as soon as I can. They are an A+ in my book.“
