Love this place. Too bad they arent open for dinner. Breakfast and brunch are awesome here. Always busy but always fast service, always nice people. Very clean and neat. Prices are cheap too. Best breakfast on the south side. Omelets and sandwiches are great. Good coffee too.

We are only given out one star not because of the wait staff because of the way the food was prepared the waitress was fine timely courteous. The food do breakfast chicken and waffles waffles were cool chicken undercooked I had the skillet was not burnt or overcook but I had a burnt taste to it and I'm experienced on the skillet I love the skillets. The glass had a chip on it the top I don't want to drink out of a glass like that I don't know if I'm the waitress gave it to me her hands are dirty or sticky but you could see the sticky stuff on the side of the glass I picked it up in my hands immediately stuck to the glass we just ask for the bill left the food there gave her a tip and we left I explained it to the management he said to you tell the waitress no we did not but we should have had to be to tell her that we had bad food

Melrose is a great Greek restaurant in a good location. I have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here both personally and professionally. They have a large menu, so it would be tough to not find something even for a picky eater.The inside is large and very well kept and the environment is conducive to having a meeting with a colleague or sitting with the family.

This is a classic no frills breakfast place. Table was plenty large, the seating comfortable. The service was fast and easy. The food selection was great and fast! Coffee is a bit expensive though.

We went here for breakfast based on reviews and the menu was so enticing, we ate enough for lunch to. we highly recommend this place when you are hungry for some good homecooked food. the staff was friendly, and hardworking. the service was quick and the food excellent.

This has been our go-to restaurant for breakfast. However many eggs you order, they give you and extra egg for free. The hash browns are always crispy on the outside and delicious. Anything I have tried there has always been delicious.

Went for lunch for the first time the other day had the Melrose panini. Was pretty decent didn't want soup so it was an up charge for a salad. Not a big deal just kind surprised about an up charge. The reason I will not be returning had nothing to do with the price or flavor of food. That decision came down after the meal I had to use the rest room. I heard somebody come out of the stall didn't pay much attention until he didn't was his hands... he was an employee at the restaurant...so needless to say I will not be returning.

I Love this place! Wish they stayed open longer (closes @ 3pm). The food is very good and the portions are big. I always have leftovers to take home. The host staff are attentive & seat you as soon as they can. The wait staff, on the other hand, could at least look a little happier.
