While the service is top notch, unfortunately, the food is really not. My biggest pet peeve is places who do not season the steaks. If the meat should be so good that it does not need seasoning then make sure. For the price you pay it just is not worth it. So many more reasonable places to eat that have better food.

It's ok. The service was slow. We waited to give our drink order. Then after the meal we waited to be noticed our meal was done. I've heard, and our experience solidified this, that they cook the meat a little under-done. If you want medium rare, order medium, or you will get rare. Order one up from what you want. Everything else was very good and done correctly. But not the beef.

Ate dinner last night and the service was great. Raw Oysters, crab cakes, and Filet were delicious and definitely going to make Coco’s one of our premiere destinations for fine dining. The service lasted into today, in which I left my phone at the restaurant, and even though they are closed on Sunday, the manager drove all the way into the restaurant to retrieve it for me! Highly recommend Coco’s

I came here for dinner with family to celebrate a birthday - we came on a Thursday and did the meal for 2, which was a great option! The lobster bisque was the best I've had and I could easily return for that alone. This is a lovely quaint location that showcases the local connections in Oconomowoc!!
When we called and asked what the appropriate attire was for dinner we were told that it was semi-formal to formal! We weren't thrilled when we saw a couple of guys in baseball caps and tennis shoes, and many of the patrons were dressed business casual. And the guy that appeared to be the general manager was dressed VERY casually in kakis and a casual shirt - we were quite overdressed. This is not a fancy place. The food and service were good, but the food wasn't anything to write home about, and quite frankly, the elevated prices weren't justified. It's a nice restaurant, but that's really it.

Be careful if you use their point system. When we went to order the waitress wasn't sure what our points were worth so she asked the manager and then said they were worth $160. We enjoyed a nice meal as always since we were regular customers. When we received the bill our points somehow were only worth $64. The total bill was over $600. That's quite a difference. When we asked about it they said they calculated incorrectly before we ordered. We spoke with the manager who said there was nothing she could do. Even meeting us halfway would have been enough. We left and haven't returned. That was last May. Having been in management positions we were always told to at least try to make the customer happy.

I’ve been coming to coco’s 4 -5 times a year since they opened. The prices have tripled, service was extremely poor! They used to be excellent, not by tonight’s standards! Steak was tough for a $60 tenderloin! Crab cake was tiny and really salty, inedible! Salt is the new main ingredient for everything! The server didn’t know anything and didn’t stick around to ask if we needed anything. Everything was over cooked and salty. Not to mention the prices are outrageous!!Wine list was limited and prices increased, but I understand that.Very disappointing compared to previous visits. ?We won’t be coming back!! Came in on a Tuesday night to check this place out, and I was beyond amazed at the lovely atmosphere, kind staff, and quality of the food! My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and first ordered a few specialty cocktails that were unique and delicious. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer, and I'm not even exaggerating.. it was the best bruschetta I've ever had! My boyfriend and I are vegetarians, and we spoke with John, the GM/chef, and he made us a CUSTOM dish for each of us - cauliflower steak! I've had cauliflower steak a few times at other places and was never impressed, but what John made for us was perfection! The plate presentation blew our minds, too. As he was walking towards us with the plates, I could've sworn it was a real steak with a lobster tail on top, but it was a purple cauliflower under a smaller piece of white cauliflower with chimichurri and beet puree. This dish needs to be on the regular menu, it was so amazing! Both bartenders were super friendly and kept us entertained all night long. It's rare to find a place that checks all three boxes: divine food, lovely atmosphere, and outstanding customer service. I'm ecstatic to have found a new favorite spot in Oconomowoc! Thanks SO much John for accommodating our dietary preferences and being so hospitable!
