This could go down as the worst dining experience ever. Granted it was Easter Sunday and it was a self service brunch, so you have to give them a little wiggle room. But the overall experience was terrible. Patrons were packed in like sardines. It was difficult walking between tables because it was so tight. The food? Not sure that's what it was. The ice cream was warmer than the chicken, potatoes, and everything else. Little flavor. Ended up leaving most of it on my plate so I could go home and have something to eat. The price? $50 per person for x#xx##. The good part? The wait staff worked extremely hard to make up for the owner's greed and deserved a generous tip. Will never, never, never go back. We were ripped off.

Very very average. Had prime rib, and it was not very good. Very chewy. Go to Palmers Steakhouse! So much better!!

Gem in Lake Country. This is a review of the casual menu. Tuesday-Thursday they have a Happy Hour special from 4:30-6:00, half off all drinks, including the big steins of beer. Live music in the lounge Dec-Mar and then the patio starting in May. We enjoyed a very tasty and juicy orange roughy sandwich and a chicken pesto wrap. Both were delicious and more than we could eat.

We were going to have our September 14, 2024 vow renewal ceremony and reception here. We have been here before for several events. The food and service had always been good. However, in planning our vow renewal with Golden Mast was a disappointment. The banquet contract states we should have had a tasting but we're told only weddings get tastings. The only difference is that we are already legally married....everything else was the same. That being said, we spent ovgğ We were going to have our ceremony and reception there. We are having an officiant to perform the ceremony. We would have been having the same ceremony and reception that everyone else is. The room Golden Mast offered us was supposed to hold 50 people. We stated we were going to have 50 guests. Yet, when we asked about room setup, we were given seating for 36 guests. When we asked what specific table sizes so we could purchase the correct linens, we were made to feel like we were "bothering" the banquet coordinator. The way the room was set up was not going to allow for all of our giests to view us. We expressed concerns about that room but was told there was not another area due to the time of year. We had also asked about use of the bridal room, on multiple occasions, to get ready on-site prior to our ceremony. Golden Mast could not commit to an answer. Rather, they told us, if the wedding party in the larger room upstairs was going to have their ceremony on-site, it would not be available to us. We inquired about having pictures taken at the Gazebo, but, again, because of the other party, that would be off limits. We were told our ceremony would be held buy the fountain. It was actually going to be held by the lighthouse (with a water feature). There was no room to have a DJ or even dancing if we created and managed our playlists connected to Bluetooth speakers. In the end, we moved to a different venue and have been treated so much better than at The Golden Mast . We feel the whole ceremony and reception was not significant tho them. We feel that this was an unfortunate situation.

We had our wedding here last week and it was amazing! The venue itself is so beautiful you need minimal decor. Bar is located in the room right next to the DJ, everyone was very accommodating and helpful. The price is very reasonable and you can guarantee your guests will love their food.

We came here for Sunday brunch. Everything was wonderful. It was served family style. You could ask for more of anything you wanted. Fruit, pastries, egg, sausages, bacon, steak, ham, turkey...there was a small buffet type line you could go up to at any time to have an omelette or Belgian waffle made. There was also a large table of fabulous deserts. Our server was excellent. I would recommend checking this restaurant out!

The food and staff are always top notch. Unfortunately, like many places, they appeared to be short staffed and we had to wait a bit longer than we wanted for beverages, the meat platter and the check.

Had our motorcycle club yearly get-together/brunch there. WOW! Don't worry, Weissgerbers WILL take good care of you and your guests. Voted BEST club Installation Party in 52 years.

I experienced Golden Mast Inn for the first time for their Sunday brunch. Overall, we had a really good experience! I do wish the timing between courses was a bit quicker, but the food quality was very good and there were lots of options! I probably wouldn’t bring my young kiddos here, but will definitely be back for a nice brunch with my husband!
