This is a 3.5 star review. Lovely interior and decor. Stopped in for brunch. Nice wisco menu and fast service. Large interior; plenty of tables and comfy booths. Food is not mind blowing but good and fresh. They don’t have various coffee choices or espresso; don’t Ming a good cup of regular coffee but would have been nice to have other choices. There is free parking nearby. They accommodate gluten free. Enjoyed it, would go back to try out their dinner and cocktails.

The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere was wonderful. However - I had a gift certificate from the Wisconsin Restaurant Assoc that I wanted to use. I called the Wis Restaurant Assoc this morning - today - and they verified that Ready Set was a member and I could use my certificate. Imagine my surprise, when at the restaurant they said they weren't a member and I couldn't use the gift certificate. So somewhere there is a communication breakdown. Who is at fault? Hmmmm something to be fixed.

I came for a birthday dinner, second time in here. Our server was wonderful, very sweet and helpful woman. Always had water/drinks and constantly asked how we were all doing. My issue is with price to food value. Ordered the sirloin (priced at $30) with two sides. Sirloin was completely pink and yet somehow completely rubbery and chewy. The fries were great, as was the ready set sauce (tastes like mayo and ketchup mixed). Another issue I had was with the broccolini I was served- completely crunchy as if only cooked for a couple of seconds and it was cool to the touch. One final issue I had was the flaky salt being extremely large- a strange complaint I know, but I ended up getting a piece the size of my fingernail and it cut into the roof of my mouth. All in all, price was terrible for the quality and care of the food served, but the atmosphere and service was wonderful.

The prime medallion and meatball sandwich were delicious. I found the calamari to be over battered. I can't recommend the squash side. It tasted like it had been grilled in old grease. Over all good food and great service. I'd go back.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids! Very kid friendly.

Met 2 friends here this evening and it was wonderful! Such a welcoming place to walk into. Our server was amazing and the food was fantastic. One had pizza (gluten free), one had pasta and I had the wedge salad and the mushroom risotto. Portions were generous and the prices were so reasonable! I don’t live close by but my friend who does says she can’t wait to return. And just one more shout out to our server- she rocked.

Ate at the Ready Set on 12/15 with a friend before a concert. Food and service was top notch, and even though we had some issues getting the food out in time for us to make it to the concert, management was super accommodating and took great care of us to make sure we had our meal in time. Will definitely be back!

The best place to eat and hang out in Oregon. The pizza is great. Also, the Ready Set burger. If they had oysters I'd be there all day. Great spot for Oregon.

Light dinner and drinks in an early Saturday evening. Service and atmosphere was nice, food was average to slightly below average. Watery tasteless clam chowder and a non descript pizza that arrived luke warm. Third visit since they opened, feels like things are slipping not improving as they become a more established restaurant.

Checked this place out on a recommendation of a local friend. Overall a really nice experience and the food was good. The Walleye was fantastic. The Wedge Salad serviceable... the Bourbon Old Fashioned, solid. There were a few service problems... Our reservation couldn't be found... out of baked potatoes... the wrong streak was delivered to our table... but sometimes you just shrug and go with it. This said it was a positive experience and I'd go back. The staff were friendly and were trying very hard.
