I went in to La Sure’s to order a special cake for my Mothers 78th Birthday. I did not get what I ordered and it was very disappointing to not only my mom but everyone else at her party. I called and spoke to a manager who told me the owner would be calling me back. That was two weeks ago and nothing. I will never order another cake from them.

Traveling through Oshkosh I happened upon this sweet gem of Wisconsin. The heart of a true diner is where everyone is and feels welcome, local or not. I got that in spades here. I clearly stood out as the only one with a mask but I still felt as welcome as at my parents. Oh and the classic diner food was good, fast, and the price was more than reasonable. Better coffee than most also.

A friend was here recently and had the worst experience! Employees were very rude and disrespectful which is totally unacceptable. None of the employees wore masks (even during the mask mandate). She was not comfortable accepting a cake that she had ordered and they were extremely rude to her because of that. You may have your own opinions about wearing masks but it doesn’t excuse anyone for treating another human so poorly as they did!

Made my daughters wedding cake this past weekend. Beautiful and so delicious. Had raspberry swirl, marble and red velvet layers with their famous buttercream frosting. Truly amazing all around, thank you for your beautiful work. Highly recommend! They also gave them a 6 inch layer cake, all packaged up, complimentary, for their anniversary cake. A very special and “sweet” bonus. Thank you Bev and everyone at LaSure’s.

My family and I have been ordering cakes and desserts for celebrations for years and have always loved it. Sadly, when I went to pickup an order, I found and was informed that no employees wear masks when preparing food, cakes, or serving customers. I was given a full refund, which I appreciated, but sadly will no longer be a customer here since I can’t trust the safety of their products.

The cakes are always delicious from La Sures. We've been ordering cakes from them for about 10 years now and we especially love the chocolate chip cake. Recently we ordered a graduation cake for my daughters college graduation. I wanted it decorated very special. I really didn't expect much because they are not very good with the decorations. I asked for blue piping around the cake with gold writing. I provided the cap. The cake was done in black and yellow and when I picked it up they asked if someone was graduating from UWO. I said no, and realized they made it with Oshkosh colors. Very disappointed as usual. For a wedding cake place their decorators are terrible. This isn't the first time we've been disappointed.
