My husband and I enjoy trying local breakfast eateries, especially around the Fox Valley. This past weekend was our first time dining at Mike's Place and it will not be our last! From the service to the food, everything was exceptional. If you're looking for an affordable breakfast that makes you feel at home, this is the place to be. We highly recommend their pancakes, they're big enough to share!

Since I was meeting a friend for lunch, I let her choose the place. I was satisfied with the food, nothing outstanding but good. The service was ok. They were very busy and I had arrived and was seated, waiting for my friend. When she arrived a few minutes later it took about 15 minutes for the wait person to come back to our table. She took orders for 4 other customers but didn't stop by us until we stopped her. This was not acceptable for me.

First time coming here and the food was really reasonable, we ordered breakfast and the pancakes were huge, coffee was excellent too, the only downfall is breakfast is served till 1pm.Friendly atmosphere with comfortable seating and I liked the fact that they told us to seat ourselves, not to many restaurants these days let you do that.The parking lot is big in the back with a car port for protecting you and your car from the weather.
Parking: During busy hours for breakfast the parking lot was full with a few stalls less. During non busy hours there is a lot of parking availability.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids' menu. This place is family friendly. The service is good and the food comes to the table quite quickly so the kids don't have to wait long getting impatient.
