Our first time there with friends from Oshkosh. Family owned and run with very limited hours, ie Fri night. Atmosphere was casual but pleasant. Server was friendly and efficient. Food was very good with a good selection of seafood as well as sandwiches.Parking: Off street parking next to the building.Kid-friendliness: Several families were eating while we were there.Wheelchair accessibility: The one step into the building had a .etal ramp.

Enjoyed the 2 piece haddock with potato pancakes, my friend had clam chowder, perch, German potato salad, dessert and said, great. Enjoyed 5th ward beer. The waitress was very nice and had a clean bathroom, cash only they have an ATM and tell you right away

Fish was small and dry, overcooked for sure. Cook should not have let it leave the kitchen. Can't go back and try again, because I found out they pool tips. Servers should keep their tips. Especially when she did a good job trying to make it right. Disappointed all around

Perch was dry, haddock drenched in some type of butter flavor, coffee was weak, thought we'd try dessert, ice cream was lacking taste, most likely in freezer to long. Then to top it off they pool tips

We were going to a show at the arena, was hoping to eat at the restaurant there, but the cook didn’t show up. Was recommended Sherman House. Was told they have amazing food. We were able to sit at the bar to eat as there was a line. The waitress took our order and I mentioned we have a show! Well our food was out to us in a very short time, and it was so delicious, I had the tenderloin sandwich and my husband had the Sherman burger. Definitely going to come back when we can stay longer to enjoy the fish fry!
