The place was fairly empty when we were there. Our waiter was very strange and socially awkward. Very attentive and good at his job but it felt awkward every time we conversed with him. Food was OK at best and overpriced. One of the other people at my table and I ordered the same thing and they looked completely different as far as quality of the steaks. He didn't eat half of his meal. Other guests at our table had the Seabass and it was amazing. Bacon appetizer was burned and overall meh. It was nice to try something new, but we probably won't go back

This place was awesome. Great atmosphere, good service, good drinks / sides and appetizers. The only thing I would say is my steak was cooked too rare. Which is the most important part to me. I would recommend ordering your steak more well done then usual.

The service here is unmatched. We had a great experience from start to finish! Felt welcome and taken care of from the moment we walked in the door. Highly recommend for a fine dining experience in Oshkosh.

The atmosphere is sophisticated and clean at TJ Highland. However, my positivity ends there. I was greeted by about 5 hostesses, which felt odd but ok. We were sat and when our waitress came to get our drink orders (four top), she took two, then walked away. When she came back, she took the rest of the drink order for the rest of the table. After we requested it to be taken! Bizarre.During the end of dinner, I went to the host stand to ask to pay for dinner, which they obliged the server would serve me the check. I asked if anything was offered per a birthday, as someone in our party had a birthday. A hostess said no, we don't do anything for birthdays .Later, we had a birthday brownie dessert to share, as well as a manager visit...so apparently they DO so birthday somethings. So what was that about??????Generally, our server made us feel rushed to order and she was very "functioning." She did her job to serve us food, but I know a server is much more than that. She forgot two orders of drinks as mentioned, but overall, she was not welcoming, selling the food, and just not seemingly interested in working the table. My friend ordered a medium rare ribeye ($64) and it was medium to medium well - at that price, one expects excellence...not so.Overpriced mashed potato side....nothing overly special.Ahi dinner was DELICIOUS!Over $20 for a glass of house Chardonnay...but it was a nice glass of wine. Not impressed at all by the service. The food left us wanting.Buyer beware?

Very flavorless filet and fingerling potatoes. No pepper on the table to at least season it with. Steaks were all under cooked. Rare instead of medium. The wedge salad was very good. Service was fine but not excellent. We really expected more for the price.

TJ's always delivers. Their food is wonderful along with the service. They always cook my husband's steak perfectly (Black and Blue) and I love the variety of other dishes to choose from. This is always our go to place for special occasions or dining with friends.

This was our fourth visit and unfortunately our experience was nothing like the previous three times. New York strip was tough and just not all that enjoyable. Coulette waygu was tough and flavor was off. Must have been an off night. Apps were amazing and sides with dinner were delightful. Still tipped 20% because the wait staff has no control over quality of the food. Service was on point and personality was excellent. Certainly not worth the $411 I paid. Likely will take a break from TJ Highlands for a bit.

Went here for retirement dinner. Food fantastic, service outstanding. Never felt rushed, food came out at a pace that was so enjoyable. Quiet night so didn't feel like we had to leave immediately after dinner, it was a nice linger. Great experience

You can never go wrong at TJ's highland steakhouse! Large portions. Unique menu. Love a vegetarian option! Eden, our server, was wonderful! And the manager who came around was lovely too. Talk about attention to detail!! For a special occasion or just because, check out TJ's!!

Great atmosphere, overall service was alright, expected more from a higher end place...Ordered a steak medium rare, leaning more to medium, steak was quite rare, if I wasn't as hungry and waitress would've came back sooner I would have had them cook longer...Otherwise enjoyed.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiling faces! We asked to be seated instead of go to the bar and we were promptly accommodated. Regis, our server was FANTASTIC! Very knowledgeable about menu items and kept our dining experience on track. Food was phenomenal! A few of us had filet mignon, cooked exactly as ordered and mouth watering delicious!! One had beef wellington, first time ever and won't be the last! Sides of corn, three cheese potatoes, asparagus and fingerling potatoes were all superb, plenty to share with some to spare! Will definitely be back!

This was our second time dining at TJs . Lunch time during winter, on a Friday, seems to be the best time if you want very personal service and a quiet environment. This second time, we were the only people in the dining room. Max provided us with outstanding service! Portions seemed large but he accommodated us by splitting the chicken Parmesan entree. This will be our go to for special occasions. We were celebrating a birthday. The complimentary dessert was a very fudgy brownie with ice cream on top and chocolate and butterscotch syrups. Yummy!
