Our party of 4 had dinner on Friday October 15th. The Friday fish fry was the worst perch we have ever had. The breading was so deep fried and thick and greasy. It tasted terrible. I would never recommend this restaurant for a Friday perch dinner. Also overpriced at $18.00.

Uptown is absolutely a local gem! The food was delicious with a salad bar to boot. Our server Mary was super friendly and.attentive. You know your in the right place when it’s full of locals. Highly recommend!!

Ate here today for an early dinner with my family. There were a few people at the bar but no one else in the dining area. Our waitress was friendly and the soup and salad was great. Two of us ordered the tenderloin and something was off with mine. I asked the waitress if they could throw it back on the grill for a bit which was no problem. Tried it again and I don't know what it was but the steak didn't even taste like steak. I tried a piece of the other one, it was better but still not "right". My steak was a very dull grey color while the other was more brownish/pink. We love finding older or more "hole in the wall" restaurants but I would not recommend this place.

Went there for my birthday with a group of family members. Was completely disappointed and was a complete waste of money. For a 155.00 meal we got fish that tasted like flour, beef tips that tasted old and smelt like beer, and the Alfredo well there was no taste except water. Said something to the waitress and she blew it off. Brought me out a birthday dessert that was dry and old. Worse birthday meal and a complete waste of money!!!!!

Salad bar was fantastic as was the soups on it. My meal was not good. Everyone else in my party had the same feelings. I'd go back only for the soup and salad bar.
Great value and friendly/warm atmosphere. Jill does a great job behind the bar. Slow roasted New York strip is incredible. Wait staff is excellent, very attentive and accommodating. Favorite place for my wife and I to take our two adult sons and girlfriends as we get a good opportunity to visit and enjoy relaxing food and drinks.

Excellent food, excellent service! I had fried haddock and it was crispy but not oily. I had it with rye bread, coleslaw, potato pancakes with applesauce and syrup. It was the perfect old fashioned Friday night fish dinner. The salad bar was buffet style as was the soup.

Visited after the Saturday storm before setting up camp at the EAA Airventure airshow. Great friendly service and the food was fine. Decided to get the soup and salad bar. Salad bar was normal, but the Union stew was excellent...could have made that my lunch all by itself...
