I come in here all the time and the food and service is always amazing. I ate at the bar with my parents and Caterina was our bartender and server. best server i’ve had in a very long time. she was super energetic, bubbly and just so sweet!! definitely recommend coming here :)

The Food and Service were fabulous. The restaurant itself is outdated but it made me feel like I was back in 1970’s- I like that! My family and I had a great meal with lots of conversation and laughter. The waitress keep calling me “Kiddo”, which is cute because I am much older than her. Thank you Silvernail Inn. We will be back.

Tried it on Saturday with a party of 6. My wife and I arrived first and were greeted by a bartender who insulted me right off the bat. Then when the other 4 in the party arrived they waited about 10 minutes to place their drink orders even though it wasn't very busy yet. Mr. Rude Bartender couldn't keep the drink orders straight in his head, so he ran for a pencil and paper. my wife's cocktail could have been a mocktail because she couldn't detect the bourbon that was supposed to be in it. We were seated promptly at our reserved time, which was the best part of the experience. We then spent the next 2 hours at our table--mostly waiting--because the waitstaff was so dreadfully slow. The food was mostly unremarkable. I had walleye, which was a little smelly; nobody else at the table commented on the food, which they would if it were yummy. The salad bar seemed nice enough, but I made the mistake of choosing the house dressing, which tasted like vinegar with garbage mixed. I'll never go back because it was too disappointing on too many levels.

I was totally impressed by the Silvernail Inn. What a great and wonderful experience. Very friendly staff and our steak and prime Rib was outstanding. I did have somewhat of a hesitation, but I'm glad I stopped

My wife and I along with another couple went here for the first time. I had the Prime rib, my wife enjoyed the Mahi Mahi, our friends had the filet with shrimp and the Walleye. The food was delicious, all entrees included homemade soup, a salad bar and delicious warm bread. Service was very good and the only reason I gave a four star on the atmosphere was because the location could use a bit of updating which I am sure will happen as word spreads about the delicious food.

My fiance and I came here on a whim for dinner. We were seated right away and the waitress was very friendly. We ordered our drinks and placed our order. The food came out and was very hot and looked good but unfortunately didn't taste very good - thankfully we had plenty of the complimentary bread to fill us up. If you're looking for good drinks this is a place to add to your list but do not come here if you're looking for a good meal. The drinks are the only reason they got 3 stars.

The food was so delicious. The staff was very polite and helpful. Those garlic mashed potatoes are too addicting! Even though I was stuffed from the prime rib and buttery bread, I had to eat every last bite of the potatoes as to make sure not a single bite went to waste! Definitely want to try some other items off the menu!
