I ordered a smoked salmon Benedict, and when I got to my destination to get ready to eat it notice I didn’t have a fork to eat it with Nor a napkin. Potato pancakes whatever that is is too spicy. The salmon is pretty and the egg everything else. Yeah it’s OK so used to the Blue Bear over on Douglas their food is exceptional and they have lots of gluten-free options when I moved over here on this side of town for a while the Blue Bear on this side of town didn’t have any gluten-free options, but I think I will go back to the Blue Bear on Douglas. What I ordered wasn’t really worth the price that I paid $35 because now my stomach is upset didn’t realize that this was that spicy.

Meeting a former work colleague. Glad we made a reservation as all tables were full. Seating was a cramped between a wall and guests at an adjacent table. Food was good and our waitress was accommodating as far as not rushing us to place our order. Food was delivered at a good pace. I'm not familiar with Racine; so I don't know what options were available but this was a good find.

Went here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Service was wonderful and the food was definitely top tier. Ambiance was great, like a modern casual feel. Thats the basics, now I'll go into detail...My pops got a breakfast burrito and some eggs, My sister and I shared the blue bear benedict and the salmon benedict. I felt that both of the benedicts were very well designed dishes and were among the best versions of eggs benedict I've had. The potato pancakes they used in place of the English muffins, were a great idea, though, toasted a shade darker than I'd like. The shredded ham in the blue bear benedict was the right amount of flavor and tender. The eggs were poached perfectly. The salmon in the salmon benedict was thinly sliced and just present enough. I felt that it was pretty wonderful. My sister, however would have liked if the red(dark) meat along the fillet was removed as it's stronger tasting than the the rest of the meat and made that bite taste fishy. They served what I think was a medium roast coffee. The first pot might have been a little old, but when I got topped off again, it was very clearly a fresh pot and I really enjoyed the taste. That said, the coffee was not cheap, and I think the coffee for 3 people was over $13, alone. I'm not complaining; I just want you to know. For most of us this isn't going to be a weekly meal, but I will definitely return again. My nit-picking aside, this was one of the better breakfasts I've had in quite a while!

I've been here several times, and then we kind of started going somewhere else for a while and figured we'd go here again. After not being here for about 3 or 4 months, the price went up significantly. I'd give this place a 5 star if it wasn't so expensive.

This is by far the most gluten free friendly locally owed restaurant I have found! I love everything on the menu that's gluten free. The cocktails are superior with all their locally sourced spirits! I especially love the Bloody! I cannot say enough good. ❤️❤️❤️Dietary restrictions: My gluten free friends, by choice or not, indulge on this awesome restaurant! You will not be disappointed!

We enjoy Blue Bear's inventive and delicious food and have never been disappointed! I appreciate the care with which they prepare food, making sure gluten free is truly gluten free! They use a dedicated fryer for GF items, which means celiacs can have foods like beignets and fries. ?

Blue Bear is not your average eating experience. You will pay more but you are getting excellent meals that are out of the ordinary. Tried several items and have never been disappointed.
Good food, a little pricey. But nice GF and vegan options.

We decided to try Blue Bear on a whim and we can't wait to come again! It's such a fun experience eating here. The staff are so kind and friendly and it was a pleasure dining here. Even though we had reserved and arrived about 45 minutes before the restaurant closing we didn't feel rushed at all.Blue Bear has a wonderful selection of drinks, hot and cold, and also some really cool mocktails! Meals are well portioned and high quality ingredients. Everyone loved their meals.

I spent a few days in Racine caring for my mom. This place is wonderful. The food was incredible and I think they have the best Rosemary breakfast potatoes that I've ever tasted. The staff was polite. The place was very clean. Also the Mexican mocha latte was delicious. Highly recommend.

Delicious food, we didn't have a single bad dish. I had the sweet potato hash, and it was perfectly seasoned. The marbled rye toast was fantastic. I also loved the Blue 'Beary' Pancakes! We were a group of 8, but we called ahead and they were able to push two tables together for us. They have several vegan dishes on the menu, and several gluten free items listed.Dietary restrictions: Clearly labeled vegan dishes and dishes that can be made vegan with substitutions.
