7 oz of meat on a Italian beef makes allegations made by the owner. It was three pieces of meat; never again. I drove 15 mins to get this food. I just asked for some more beef; he states “ you want a double” no I do not I want an Italian beef not bread and three pieces of meat.I’ve been to a lot of places in Racine, this is one you should not go unless you want a piece of meat (they forgot the sweet peppers) and bread.Horrible service and horrible food. I’m Italian and I’d rather go to a McDonald’s than this shady hole in the wall.

I love the food here. I usually get the roast beef bomber or a pizza. I've also had their wings. All of it is very tasty and satisfying. Other restaurants are just so so to Mario's. This is the place for wonderful tasting food.

We have been going to Mario’s for years. The food is kind of hit or miss, you have to know what to order. The Pizza Bomber is a great sandwich and I have never been disappointed with that, their Saturday night rib special used to be my favorite, I’m sad they got rid of that. Their Italian food is good too. Their prices are fair I will say that, this is mainly the reason we keep coming back. The waitress is kind of abrasive (if you know what I mean) she comes off rude but she can be friendly if you get to know her. If you have a party larger than 4 don’t expect them to move the tables for you. You will be doing the moving. The main reason for my low service rating is because the food took forever. We were there on a Sunday night (after 7pm) there was hardly anyone eating there. Of course the bar was full (hence great atmosphere) but I believe we were one of a few tables occupied. We waited over an hour for 2 burgers, a salad, and an order of stuffed shells. I think these are relatively easy dishes to make and there’s no reason it should have taken that long. There was also a group that came in and got served much quicker than we did, almost like there was some preference there. Put it this way, it will be a while before we come back.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly unless you go when the bar is not busy. The bar tends to get rowdy.

Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, plenty of different games on the TVs at same time, prices are very fair, atmosphere has been good every night we’ve been there over the last ten days, would recommend for anyone staying in Lapad

Mario's Italian sports bar is one place that may be overlooked in Racine so if you have not tried it yet I highly recommend you do so because the food is so good you will feel like you are dining in a Italian restaurant and not a pub if it weren't for the obvious bar atmosphere which is one reason I usually don't dine in unless I plan on having drinks with my meal but if I do they offer a wide drink selection with a good variety of mixed drink options from their specialty menu plus the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food consist of your standard Italian options like lasagna and different pasta options but they also offer other food options like Pizza, burgers, Pizza burgers lol fried chicken, and different sandwich options and needless to say it's a sports bar so if you're trying to catch the game this is a good place to do it.
Good thin pizza, lots of cheese, the waitress was nice that atmosphere was nice.

Great Fish Fry with some tasty desserts. Cool layout with lots of sports memorabilia on the walls. Ladies working were on top of things. Everything was very reasonably priced ?
