I love Whey Chai. They're cozy, with good prices and good potions. I'm excited that they extended their menu. They literally kept alive for years when I lived nearby.Support small businesses in general, but definitely this one.

Updated on 2/19. Stay away, the food was sub par (if that) this time. The portions were smaller. They short change you on everything. We ordered multiple dishes and the lady bought out one small bowl of white rice. It’s like they’re cutting corners at the cost of the consumers. Another thing the lady gave us three fortune cookies. I’ve never been a place where they only give you three cookies. We won’t be back ever again. It’s a shame how your service can change for the worse in a matter of three months. I left the old review so you can see how they changed.Service was awesome, and the food was decent. We’ve tried numerous places in Racine, and it was the same thing over and over. One item was ok, and the rice wasn’t, or the rice wasn’t good but the dish was. This place has chicken egg rolls, and chicken fried rice that comes with the lunch specials. The gravy for the egg foo young was actually good (that is what will make or break the dish).

Bad service bad additude poor quality on the food dried up rice like old and cheap on the soy sauce packets , sweet and sour.barely gave us any so upset our egg rolls no meat in them when i told him i wanted chicken so there not on our list for take out or ordering out in the future..

It's good food but hasn't been open for dine in options for a very long time. Why don't they have the dine in option anymore. VERY FRUSTRATING!!.
Ordered delivery from Whey Chai last night. VERY DISAPPOINTED again! Not only did it take 20 more minutes than they said ( which they're not far from my house) .Told me 35 -40 minutes, it was a hour. I ordered sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, extra order of white rice, extra soy, mustard, sweet sauces. Received sesame chicken,instead of orange chicken. No extra sauces or white rice. Now it's already 8:45 at night . I was so hungry, I ate it! This isn't the first time they were late or didn't receive the extras I ordered. Poor service! I don't recommend!

Everyone who put one star has no taste buds what so ever this is some of the best Chinese food I've had in a while the chicken is sweet and delicious and the chicken fried rice taste so flavorful. Also lady who found a "worm" in your soup it's a fricken noodle calm down.

Place is closed when it's supposed to be open. Food has degraded since the change of ownership. Not sure I'll ever go back again.

Old food, overpriced menu. Save your money. You'd be better off going to Panda Express, atleast their food is fresh! They remade the chicken leather but the replacement plate was hardly better. I was disgusted to pay $35 for the two of us on this place and will never go there again

I'm SO bummed, what happened to the food?! Been eating here since I was a kid and the unique egg roll recipe with peanut butter was the BEST I've ever had - no others had compared and I've lived all over the US. Used to love their fried rice as well. This was on my must-go-to list whenever I visited and now it all just tastes like fried oil and no flavor. To note though, service was friendly. Based on others' reviews the ownership changed hands? That would explain why this is no longer uniquely delicious. Unfortunately, won't be coming back.
