Friendly and cozy. Don't be bashful or rude. If ta make eye contact just say hey. It's a small place where people seem to know one another, at least when I was there. Bartender was good and perfectly pleasant. Music is always a bit of a battle. Not a country fan myself but there was occasionally a mix but classic rock and country was the predominant vibe.
No gimmicks, no nonsense, just beer and liquor at reasonable prices with prompt and polite service. Has billiards, darts, electronic games, offers pizza any time. Everything you expect from a classic Wisconsin tavern.
