Well worth the two hour drive to get there from Dubuque. A truly unique place. I’m a never leave without purchasing some of their fantastic breads. Absolutely love this place.”

“Halver's Town Tap is still the place to drink in Gays Mills, WI. It's the only bar left but rest assured it's not going anywhere. Plus they are adding LIVE Music at the beer tent on Friday night at Apple Fest 9/23/2011. The Pie City Twisters will be cranking out classic rock. Laura's kid brother will be spinning inside. Saturday night Beer Tent is local favorites the Dr. Rumley Snuff Band. This is a huge beer tent, lot's of room to move around and dance and not suffocate with wall to wall people. Check out Apple Festival 9/23-25th. They made sure we had plenty of Pico and drinks and made sure we tried their in house made spicy ranch dipping sauce. We will definitely be back with the whole family.”
