“I travel alone so I'm looking for good food in a friendly atmosphere. I was not disappointed. Sour creme fries were excellent, cole slaw was perfect, ribs were falling off the bone perfect and delicious. My bartender was attentive. The owner was friendly. Definitely a good place to try!“
“5 star review… Had Primal Eats catered at a work event on January and had to check this place out. As smoked hobbyists and cooks, my husband and I had to check the restaurant out and see what other food they offered. As we pulled up to restaurant, we were amazed by the lodge and the whitetail game farm around it. The atmosphere was very cool and fun inside. Full bar and dining room. Variety of bbq, sandwiches and brick oven pizzas were some of the things offered. Got the sampler platter and the brisket was on point, best my husband and I ever had. The homemade Mac & cheese and cornbread were a favorite. Fast service and reasonable prices. Nice having entertainment while eating. In summertime this would be a lot of fun and very nice too. Talked to the owner who was super nice and even gave us a tour of the smoke house and kitchen which we loved because for our love of barbecue. Highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to come again. We drove over an hr to get here it didn’t disappoint.“
“Went there for dinner with friends, my first time but the staff made it feel as if we were regulars immediately. The food was fantastic, the prickly pear margarita stole the show. The tres leches cake is something I would strongly recommend from this establishment. Our server Bailey paid great attention to detail and made the entire experience lovely. She even went out of her way to make me feel like a VIP after she found out it was my birthday dinner. Definitely coming back! Thank you all for the wonderful meal!“
