I have been craving biryani for a long and I decided to give Jay’s a try.I ordered curries here before and I remembered liking it.Their lamb biryani is probably the best biryani I’ve ever had. It’s tasty, meaty and delicious. They didn’t skimp on the meat and was definitely worth what I paid for.I would come back again and highly recommend the biryani.As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is small and more appropriate for takeouts.
I feel bad posting a critic of a place I had heard the best. But no, the Indian food was not good at all: I ordered a butter chicken and a tikka masala, and both were not edible. Way too sweet! Felt like the cook had dropped the entire sugar container in the sauce. It tasted like a dessert not a main course dish. And the sauce of both dishes were absolutely identical. Anyhow, based on that experience, the place doesn’t deserve its reputation. Maybe the B-team was in the kitchen? Too bad as I won’t come back.

Everything on the menu is fantastic! Authentic Indian flavor! The value is incredible. The portions are perfect and not costly in comparison to what you are getting. The chicken fried rice , as a side can suffice as a meal, and it’s a great introduction to Jay’s overall offering. The curry is exquisite, and I have a very discerning taste. You can not go wrong with this establishment!
Butter chicken used to be perfect for over a year and a half coming here. Suddenly it went from perfect to horrible sometimes greasy sometimes too tomatoey no flavor. What happened? I’m sad because I was coming every week for my favorite dish. Now I need to search for the cook who used to work here.

Ok wow! This place exceeded all my expectations and I’ve been ordering here 3 times in a row because of how good it is. I’ve had the goat biryani which was perfectly seasoned, and the goat was so tender and juicy!! I also had the chicken 65 which was sweet but also spicy and amazing! The butter chicken was amazing as well. The portions are huuuuge and can feed a full family. 10/10 definitely recommend
We had come here on a short trip and were craving for Indian food, we ordered butter naan , chicken 65, goat biryani and chicken pakoda. The food was amazing , the naan was so soft, large portions and had so much goat pieces and chicken 65 was so soft and tasty. We will surely come back

Literally my favorite takeout place in all of Sheboygan. Food always arrives as ordered, with fantastic heat, layers of flavor and fresh as can be. I crave it at least once a week. I can’t recommend their Butter Chicken or Lamb Tikka Masala enough, and don’t be shy to ask for it spicy! Don’t bother going anywhere else, this unsuspecting place has some of the best food around!
Food was honestly really good {thank you chef} and service was friendly and nice. I guess not a lot of people dine inside. Cant really call it restaurant when it have slot machine insides... We was thinking twice before stepping inside for a dinner. Not bad, not terrible 3.6

Small, but so worth it. My friends found it by going to the gas station next door and we have not stopped talking about it. THE. FOOD. IS. AMAZING. (If you like Indian food). I highly recommend Jay's. We will keep coming. Two of my friends drove from Madison to Sheboygan to visit me so we could eat Jay's Food.Parking: The lot is pretty much what the gas station has, which is 3 to none; otherwise, street parking, which is not bad. Still worth going.
