We have enjoyed eating here for years, however, not up to the high Kohler standards today. I received my entrée but my husband's arrived 15 minutes later. I requested for a coffee refill 3 times. We asked if they had bread or crackers and was told no. Everything was slow, slow, slow. We were one of only 3-4 tables, so they were not busy at the time. Please, bring back the quality and service we came to expect from this beautiful restaurant.

The Ribeye steak was awesome, as was the Red Velvet Cheesecake.

Fabulous start to a weekend of golf!Kimberly our server was excellent; she was attentive, warm, friendly, and knowledgeable.I wish I had gotten a bowl of the Potato Leek Soup—so creamy and perfectly balanced in flavor! The Iceberg Wedge Salad was so unique. Each component expertly curated for a light dish with lots of flavor. My husband enjoyed the Friday Clam Chowder and the Fish and Chips as well. The soup was the star, but the whole lunch was delightful!UPDATE: I came back for a bowl a couple days later, and the experience matched our first time! ?⭐️

Great food and views, but service today was really not great. They did apologize for it, saying that college folks had all gone and someone else called in. But lunch rush is a lunch rush for a reason. All hands would have helped. And when you’re the only luxury venue in town, you should be staffed accordingly. We will be back, but hope service will be better.

Wow! The views!! The staff was amazing so attentive and personable really friendly. Eva was our amazing server. Their VESA's salad was yummy as were thier scallops and beef tenderloin. The crème brûlée was my absolute favorite. We loved sitting out on the patio watching the golfers come in

Walleye was overcooked, dry & very disappointing as it was the signature entrée I was planning on. Water glasses were not refilled without hounding staff. Bread for table was an add on item, "really" for resort of this caliber at their signature site?

Not a real big lunch selection but we made it work.Parking: Plenty of parking but it is not close to the club house or restaurant. I dropped my friends off parked and walked back.

We went here for both lunch (before golf) and dinner (after golf). At dinner, my friends steak (which was $70) was not good at all. So tough he could not cut it. He asked for a better knife and the server said they were In the process of getting better knives. For a premium place where the golf is over $500, this should never be the answer. Then she never brought over a Good knife and the managers reply when we got her over was less than apologetic. They took the steak off the bill, and the rest of the food was good. Hoping not a recurring issue.

We had lunch here last weekend and, despite some rainy weather, enjoyed a beautiful view, cozy fireside dining, and a great gluten-free sandwich. Having just been in Ireland, we immediately appreciated the Irish countryside castle-like design with beautiful stonework at the entrance. The view of the lake combined with the warm fireplace made the restaurant perfectly cozy and inviting. Our server was nice but not well versed on the menu for people with allergies. It would be nice if the menu was labeled, but as it was, she had to ferry back and forth from the kitchen to check on things for me. It ended up that I couldn't have any of the soups or appetizers, but at least they had gf bread. My club sandwich with veggies and hummus as a side turned out delicious with fresh local bacon and a fabulous aioli. The husband had the soup of the day, a potato leek, and a very crispy fish and chips. He said both were very good. Overall, as long as you're flexible, the place can definitely accommodate a gluten allergy, and the ambiance is picturesque.

Stunning setting, mediocre food. The patio is worth the visit, with stunning views over the course and the lake. The food looked SO good. The service was good. But the salmon Caesar wasn’t crisp or especially flavorful. The loaded grilled cheese beautiful, but oddly bland. The Irish Cheeseburger was highly rated, likely due to the intense amount of bacon involved. The fries were delicious. Visit for a cocktail and an app. Watch out, the exit we planned to take was closed.Parking: A little walk. Get dropped off if mobility is an issue.
