Nothing had flavor, all veggies were undercooked (they were practically raw), special instructions to make both entrees spicy were ignored. I sadly spent $55 on this dinner and everything was so, so subpar. My appetite died halfway through the meal as a result of this. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of leftovers I'm getting creative with in order not to waste. Rice and Roll had too long of a wait, so I tried this place. I guess good things really are worth waiting for. Ugh.

Love this spot! Nana's sushi is our absolute favorite. The staff is amazing and the sushi hits the spot. Our favs are the Sweet Midori, Four Season, Island Delight and Spicy girl. Definitely check it out!

This place is a hidden gem. Today was my first time eating at Nana and it was AMAZING. The island delight roll sure was a delight. Everything about it was fresh and beautiful. It melted on my tongue like butter, which is something I always look for in sushi. I LOVE THIS PLACE & I WILL BE BACK. Great service as well & very kind staff #havanaooonana

We are locals and regular patrons of NaNa. In several vacations out of town we have ordered from sushi places, assuming we would get something of similar or a superior quality than what we were used to. We have been disappointed time and time again in other restaurants. It turns out no one can live up to the quality and tastiness of our hometown favorite, Nana in Shorewood. I think we will stop trying when we are on vacation and just be happy when we get home to Milwaukee to be able to have Nana sushi again. It is excellent quality, delicious, and reasonably priced. We have ordered both sushi rolls and dinners such as sesame chicken countless times. If it was socially/financially appropriate to eat there every night we probably would. Thank you Nana, we didn’t realize how lucky we were to have the best sushi restaurant around just down the street from us!

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner. we were the first people in the restaurant and the service wasn't the best. Our waiter was talking to us as he was walking away. Being one of the first people in the restaurant we were one of the last to get our food (waited over an hour). They didn't make what my boyfriend ordered and my food came out cold and they just microwaved chicken and it tasted awful after. It seemed like a really nice restaurant but we won't be going back.

Carry out. Hand roll sushi must means fits in your hand to eat. Not the sliced roll. Almost a sushi burrito. I haven't seen this at most places. Good portion on the curry. And came with rice

I've been to this restaurant a few times before and was happy with the service and food. I came in for dine in for 3 people. There were 3 tables of people in the restaurant total. About 12 diners. I was told they were way to busy with orders and I wouldn't get food for over an hour. That is completely unacceptable as a dine in restaurant of any kind. 0 stars is not possible, so I was forced to give one for this post.
Quick order and delivery. Little doilies to put in bottom so styrofoam didn't buckle. Nicely packed and really enjoy it. Would order again

I ordered shrimp tempura as an appetizer as opposed to the vegetable and shrimp tempura.. I was given soggy, flavorless tempura vegetables and two pieces of shrimp.. not pleased about that. The miso soup needs salt or something.. it's bland but has potential. The rolls I got were good though.

I've never had something I didn't like here. The sushi rolls are all great, the sesame chicken is fresh and full of flavor, and their crab Rangoon is crunchy with a great filling. The best Asian fusion in the Milwaukee area!

We loved the flavors and the little touches on the sushi rolls. Also not a bad take on Malaysian curry! As busy as they were with long lines on a blistering cold and windy day, they were friendly to each and every customer that stepped into the restaurant for order and pick up.

I've been getting food from Nana since they first opened, and I love everything they serve. From their sushi to their appetizers to their pad Thai, everything they make is delicious. I miss coming here after yoga class with the other girls in the class, but in the meantime, my husband and I have been getting carryout or delivery from them a lot during the pandemic. In fact, I'll be getting food delivered from them tomorrow. ;)
