“Edited to update: This place changed hands and reopened. The new staff is AMAZING, very capable and welcoming. Menu is fun and specials rotate often. There is a GF menu and loads of GF baked goods are available, plus the staff has good awareness of celiac disease. We have had absolutely zero less-than-awesome experiences since this place was reopened with new management. We love it here. ---- They have a ton of different servers and they're often not great at serving. Either they're scrambling for just a few tables and you're sitting and waiting a long time, or they're short and rude. I used to be a server so I know good service and the service just kind of lacks here. They charge an immediate 18% gratuity for parties of 4 or more. If you come with your wife and two kids, be prepared to be charged a party gratuity! (I tip really, really well so they're not doing themselves any favors with this.) The menu is great, but occasionally you'll get a plate that isn't amazing. Do not recommend fish tacos. Definitely recommend the gyro or the southwest nachos! They have tons of gluten free options and substitutions but be prepared to pay like $4 more per dish for the gluten free option. Updated from previous review on 2023-04-08“
“Casual atmosphere, something like a college coffee house from years ago. Friendly, clean, relaxed atmosphere. Good food.Parking: Limited street parking constricted by nearby campus. Some free parking behind the building. Might have to walk a bit but well worth it.“
“I had an online order and went to pick it up and had a stroller with me and as I walked out of the building after picking up my order. I think the manager was probably the one - held the door open for me and my baby I felt like it was really great service. The mac and cheese was served well and timely. All the staff were very friendly. Would recommend!“
“Reviews were positive for calamari. It did not disappoint! Fresh and tender. The aioli was very good. The pasta was al dente which was perfect for the dishes we had. The staff was attentive and cordial, not pressuring or annoying. Overall wonderful experience. The wife and both had seafood pescatore. She had the Alfredo version and I had the marinara version. Both were great. I’d highly recommend. The only negative was the complimentary bread did not fit the quality of the other ingredients we had.“
“I have enjoyed all the meals I ever tried here. I’m so thankful they offer two of my favorite things: the option to go gluten free on most items and a really good coffee menu. I wish our local scene would step up to gluten free options like they do here.“
