Edited to update: This place changed hands and reopened. The new staff is AMAZING, very capable and welcoming. Menu is fun and specials rotate often. There is a GF menu and loads of GF baked goods are available, plus the staff has good awareness of celiac disease. We have had absolutely zero less-than-awesome experiences since this place was reopened with new management. We love it here. ---- They have a ton of different servers and they're often not great at serving. Either they're scrambling for just a few tables and you're sitting and waiting a long time, or they're short and rude. I used to be a server so I know good service and the service just kind of lacks here. They charge an immediate 18% gratuity for parties of 4 or more. If you come with your wife and two kids, be prepared to be charged a party gratuity! (I tip really, really well so they're not doing themselves any favors with this.) The menu is great, but occasionally you'll get a plate that isn't amazing. Do not recommend fish tacos. Definitely recommend the gyro or the southwest nachos! They have tons of gluten free options and substitutions but be prepared to pay like $4 more per dish for the gluten free option. Updated from previous review on 2023-04-08

Decided to try vegan food for one of the first times and I left here feeling very full and satisfied! I had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese and my girlfriend had the regular. Buffalo mac is a staple for me and it was honestly some of the best mac and cheese I've had! Highly reccomend for anyone who has food allergies, is vegetarian, or vegan!

LOVE THIS PLACE. My vegan girlfriend and I are always on the lookout for vegan restaurants and this is by far one of our favorites. Love the plants and the artwork. I got the Burger Mac and Potato salad, my girlfriend got the Crunch wrap and it was definitely the highlight of our week! The guy at the front counter was very friendly and our food came fast. We will definitely be coming back!!! Another plus is they have cardboard containers.

First visit. Had a good experience and the food is surprisingly good. Don't be scared to try something new! Though we had some plastic end up in our food and thankfully we caught it just before our toddler put it in their mouth, the staff was very helpful and kind in helping to resolve this mistake. Truly, even without the mishap, the staff is very pleasant to interact with. Will definitely return for a visit next time in Stevens point.

My family and I were visiting town to attend a funeral, and discovered Wicked Willow. A vegan restaurant made us all so happy! We ordered loaded nachos, spring rolls, carrot cake, the Wicked sandwich and the Gyro. Everything was delicious, and the staff was both compassionate and helpful. The food, people, and atmosphere helped with our healing. We will absolutely return next time we're in town!

Try the vegan mac and cheese! A house specialty.

I'm glad Wicked Willow has reopened! It's so nice to have a 100% vegan restaurant in central WI. The restaurant has changed from a sit-down restaurant to where you now order at the counter. As the restaurant has a new menu, I wanted to update my review. About 1/3 of the current menu is sandwiches, which makes sense given their current hours. With all the sandwich options, my partner and I decided to each order a sandwich: Tofu Reuben and Gyro Sandwich. Both of us thought our sandwiches were tasty and flavorful. I was sad that several of the specialty mac & cheeses were cut from the new menu. I hope they bring back some of the macs as specials. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-26

Showed up with a 50 dollar gift card that presented zero issue to one person. Ordered my food another person got involved in the transaction and contradicted the the original agreement to accept the gift card and informed me it would not be honored at the tail end of the transaction. I understand it’s under new ownership and they are not required to accept the the previous gift cards. But it was accepted then changed right before my very eyes. I love that they are a vegan restaurant just a bit disappointed with the flip flop gift card scenario. I’m likely not going to return.
