We came by on a Sunday in late October, probably the last weekend of good weather for the year. Fall colors were at peak on the drive to the cidery, and the orchard looked beautiful as well. We found the place to be busy but not cram-packed; there was seating indoors and out for people to enjoy their drinks. We had only one person ahead of us in line, so the ordering process went fast. We ordered a cider flight, which included four drinks; at this point in the season, they had five to choose from. We also ordered some cookies and little apple strudels from the bakery case in the adjoining room, which also had different apple bags available for purchase. Several of the apples had a samples available, kept under a dome to keep away the fruit flies that were swirling around. The ciders and pastries were tasty. I browsed the shop afterward. This would be a good place to gift shop. They had jams and jellies, home decorative items that kept to a wine theme, and of course, their ciders and wines.

I’ve been here many times and it’s one of my favorite day trips from the Cities! They have excellent cider, suburb and helpful staff, and great flights of wine. Highly recommend!

We came in on a Thursdayin the early afternoon. A flight is 2 ounce pours of 4 wines, 4 meads, or 2 wines and 2 meads. I found 8 things I wanted to sample, so I -had- to get two flights... and some crackers. We sat outside under the porch and sipped wine for an hour before we paid for the flight and our other purchases.A beautiful day out in the sun checking out the fall colors.

I wouldn't have gone if I'd known there was no nonalcoholic cider, but it was a nice tasting. The two ciders I really liked were not available for sale though. Altogether, nice place and tasty hard ciders.

Picturesque orchard with good ciders and a nice selection of Wisconsin wines. Off the beaten path.

Such a fun place to visit. Delicious ciders and a gorgeous property to walk around the orchards. The owner was behind the bar serving our tasting flights and explaining the production processes. Love supporting a family owned business and their experience is enjoyable for locals and tourists alike.

Interesting ciders and local wines are featured. The ciders we tried were delicious. The owner, Carol was fun to talk to and very knowledgable about development of cidar industry.

They are very nice, they are actually for sale. They have 2 of their own wines and ciders and then they have 2 other wineries available to sample ( which are on the Vivino app). With Covid they are only doing flights, which are $15 for the 4

They were out of apples for sale. The staff though was very friendly. We purchased honey crisp hard cider. We've had it before and it's been very good in the past. Not busy at all when we were there.

amantastic

Sadly, they were out of apples, but what a beautiful place! Made some purchases inside the shop. Loved the outdoor seating for wine and cider enjoyment.

My mom and I were visiting Pepin, WI last weekend and drove through the little town of Maiden Rock. I guess by default this Cidery/Winery is technically in Stockholm by maps. I feel like i've been to a ton of breweries but yet I don't drink beer anymore since I gave up gluten. It's nice to have an option that actually includes me. When we came in the sweet lady and her old pup Rocky gave us the run down about ciders, how they work, and whats best to order.... We grabbed a flight of 2 ciders/ 1 mead/ 1 wine. From left to right in the picture of the flight: Honey crisp cider- sweet, crisp, would be a great first drink. Red Hawk cider- Wowza. This one stole the show, it was a spiced cider, sweet but not too sweet, needless to say we took a case of this back to H-Town. I WILL be looking for it in specs. Blueberry Mead- Whoa, not a true fan of mead, as I tried the blueberry and the raspberry both and truly didn't love the distinctness. It was sweet like the honey that ferments it but sour in a way. I think this was more of a personal preference thing. Syrah- The syrah was quite good and in my opinion a good pairing with the other three things because it has a quite dry and robust taste. It's probably different than any other Syrah i've ever had but it was tasty. We walked out the gazebo but there were a ton of gnats (seasonal), so we decided to stay close to the barn. Then we went into a corn Maze at the end. We had a blast together and would love to order from their website someday!
