I couldn't decide between a couple of items and asked the server for his recommendation. He suggested I go for the HQ sandwich- a mix of pulled pork and brisket with BBQ sauce and cole slaw on a grilled Telera roll. I'm so glad I listened because it was fantastic. I chose potato chips as my side and they were also a wise choice. I was just visiting Stoughton for a day so won't be able to return to Deak's often but it will be at the top of my list for the next time I'm in the area.

Went there on a busy St Patrick’s Day with the WI Badgers on TV for the Big Ten championship and service was still great. We had the corned beef and cabbage St Patrick’s Day special. It was the best corned beef I’ve ever had!!!! Don’t ever miss the opportunity to have DEAKS corned beef again.

Deaks has great service, 32 beers on tap, tons of drink options, and drool-worthy food. I've been wanting to go here for a few years; now that I have, I can't wait to go back.I had the Smoked Salmon BLT. *So good*Dietary restrictions: They serve a 12 inch gf pizza, as well as having sourdough bread (many gf people can have sourdough).

Husband has been multiple times and stated when he took me it was not the best. My burger was eh, no flavor and his cheeseburger was very pink when asked for well done. Fries were cold, coleslaw was decent. Had the bbq burger without bacon. Server was nice, but non-existent and it was dead (4 other tables) and waited too long for check & to go containers. He was surprised because other times has been fantastic, so I will try it again to see, but for my first time I wouldn't go back. Went at 6:45pm and left at 8:15 for 2 burgers & sodas on a Thursday night!

Great food! Servers are funny and friendly. Kept our drinks refilled and cleared empty plates quickly to keep the table space clear.
When in Stoughton a great place to stop for lunch. Service was slow but she was the only waitress working so understandable.

Fav place to go in stoughtonThat changed todayWent in with the family and ordered 3 drinks. All 3 drinks had dirt in the ice cubes. I let the waitress know about this and her funky attitude made things worse . I went to let them know about the ice and I could see that the whole ice maker was gross and they still served it. Didn't even wanna eat there lord knows what happens to the food if they are ok serving dirty drinks
