This has got to be one of the most underrated, unknowns in all of Superior! Izzy's has great BBQ and I feel one of the best in the area! I've been here a number of times and each time it's delicious! His ribs, pork and chicken are an absolute delight! Rib meat falls right off the bone! Chicken is so smoky, juicy and tender! This place is the hidden gem of Superior for finger lickin great BBQ. Famous Dave's don't hold a candle to Izzys. If you haven't tried it yet, go get you some! What makes Izzy's different from the national chains is his homemade recipes. From ribs, to chicken, to pork, baked beans, coleslaw and everything in between. The owner has decades of BBQ experience and it's all right here for you to try! Go get you some good old fashioned BBQ from Izzy's! I highly recommend it!

Walked into Izzy’s lastnight and was blown away by the Philly Cheesesteak. It was big, soft and JUICY! (and I’m NOT talking about the cook!). The joint is sweet! Bartender was very nice/sociable. The drinks were priced right!!! Music was on point all night. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to hang.

Use to feel like a family bar. I use to run and do get things for my ex husband why he was working and some of the bartenders and my now boyfriend when they needed stuff for the bar and couldn't leave. I could stop in spend my money and peak in the kitchen and tell my ex husband or boyfriend I was there and izzy was fine with it. He always made me feel like family but his new wife has let things go over her head! I had problems in the past with a certain bartender and would not go in why she was working but put that behind and started going in again. Well tonight if I would not of went up and asked for menu I would not of even got one I would of just sat at the table waiting it was once again that bartender. She knows eveytime I have been in when I been in I have paid with my own money so I should be treated like a regular customer if not of course I am going to my man to tell him! Now with the way I was treated by Izzys wife tonight I once again will be spending my money sadly elsewhere why Two people are there. Oh and by the way I ended up not ordering anything and just leaving!

What a great little surprise! The food couldn’t be better, the price is more than fair, the service is excellent and the folks in and out there are varied and friendly. Definitely a place I will go back to. Really great experience!

I wasn't expecting much when I was driving to Izzy's, but apparently my expectations were too lofty. My wife and I walked in and were immediately greeted with glares by the patrons of the musty and worn establishment. What's that saying, rode hard and put away wet? Yep, that sums it up. Anyways, the glares from the degenerates that peaked in GED class didn't bother me as much as the glare I got from the bartender! She acted as if we were an inconvenience. We ordered a drink and sat there trying not dip our elbows in the sludge on the bar. Five minutes later the bartender and kitchen staff got into a squabble. The kitchen staff wanted her out of their space so the bartender responded with "ranch, mother f'er!". We paid our bill as quick as possible and ran to the door faster than a middle aged white woman clicks "buy now" on Temu. The only reason I'm not ranking Izzy's 1 star is because the drinks are dirt cheap. Will return once hell freezes over.
