How can anyone not love this place! Down to earth, and reminds us of Key West! The menu selections are terrific and the portion sizes are enough for two. We are always greeted with a smile and the service is quite welcoming! The decor is on point and makes you feel you are in Florida. :-)

Great location and atmosphere. Above average bar food but worth going. Closed early for the season.

Long wait. Like forty minutes to get a table. We had to wait outside. Was looking forward to ordering the salmon. Waiter came to take our order and he told me as I ordered salmon they were out. So I opted for the mahi (fish)tacos. There was nothing on Taco besides a three inch piece of fish and some sauce and bits and pieces of tomatoe and mango. It was the saddest taco for 21$ I've seen. My side was sweet potatoe fries. Not impressed with any of it for the wait or price. I wouldn't eat here again. Inside was cool though. Bathrooms are outside and were fine. They could do better. The parking is across the street.

Food was made fresh but tasted like Mrs dash in food!. My food was wrong. It was corrected, but thrill was gone.

A group from work all enjoyed their lunch meal choices from burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. As for the 'atmosphere', it was the noise level (wall mounted electric fans and music) that made holding a conversation across the table of six difficult. I still enjoyed the table views of the lake and its ample breezes through the screened windows. I look forward to future meal experiences at the Sand Bar.

Bruiser than a one armed paper hanger but a fun and loud spot with really good food and wait staff. Jimmy Buffett would like the place.

What a pleasant surprise! After a long, hot day out west on the chain, we stopped in for an early dinner around 5:30 on a Sunday! This was one of the better dining experiences I've had post-pandemic and need to share how great this spot truly is. While the entire place was packed, we were lucky enough to arrive shortly before another party was leaving and we're sat within 10 minutes of arrival. Service was quick, efficient, and accommodating as we did have three small kids with us. Waitress was extremely sweet and did a good job of keeping the table content. While a smaller business, the cozy, Floridian coastal vibe is inviting and warm. Decor is well done without being overstated and can be causal for lunch or dressed up for an evening dinner I ordered the Beach Chair mixed drink which was so good; exactly what to expect in a tropical drink. My husband opted for the $2 Bloody Mary special which he said was good. We ordered the fried pickles, onion rings, and the street corn seafood fries. These were absolutely fantastic; big portions of seafood. Even the kids loved them. For dinner we ordered the lobster roll which was cold and served on a toasty roll. I'm not sure what they season the lobster with but my goodness, it's good. The amount of seafood is plentiful and fresh! My husband ordered the Surf Burger with huge shrimp and cheesy, gooey onion. The kids loved their chicken strips. We will certainly be back!!

Our waiter was extremely nice and our food was nothing special, but filling. The fishing/water atmosphere was incredible. Would not come here for any quiet or private meal because its always pretty busy. Otherwise it's cute and a good go-to meal.Kid-friendliness: Although it's called a bar, it's super relaxed and there's plenty of tables. If there full kids can also sit on the high chairs.Dietary restrictions: They do have gluten free buns, but not for sliders only for normal size burgers and sandwiches.

Traveled from vacationing at Lake Geneva to check this place out. Friendly atmosphere with a local vibe. Food was very good and service was attentive. Honestly, there are just as nice water views and food in or closer to Lake Geneva. Seems like a fun boater bar/pub.
