Fish frys are a Wisconsin tradition on Friday nights, and most restaurants/bars/grills feature one. Well, we decided to try Grizzly's on this Friday night for their fish special. We arrived right when they opened at 4 pm, and every Wisconsinite knows that fish fridays could get busy quickly. We chose our table, and our server was by a short time later. We didn't need to review the menu, as we knew we wanted the fish. The special was perch, walleye, or haddock. You can choose a small(one piece) or large(2 pieces), choice of potato, and a salad. I chose the small haddock with potato wedges and French dressing for my salad. A short time after ordering, our salads came out, and it was fresh and crisp. There were croutons and cheese on the side. It had crisp lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, radishes, and shredded carrots. The salad was a larger portion and very good! I was still eating my salad when my fish dinner came out. The plate was loaded with a HUGE piece of breaded haddock, plenty of potato wedges, a small side of coleslaw, and some kind of sweet kale salad. I was excited to try the fish ad. This was our first time in, but I was quickly disappointed. I felt the fish was dry, and the batter lacked flavor. It was somewhat better after I squeezed my lemon wedge on it. The potato wedges were crispy, and the kale salad thing was ok. I didn't try the coleslaw as I am not a fan of Coleslaw anywhere. The bar was clean, with ample seating, and was adorned with typical bar decor. The staff was friendly. Some things to keep in mind: they are cash only, no beer on tap, and no hot sauce if you are a hot sauce fan. Was this experience awesome? no. Was it horrible? No. Was it a-okay? Yes. We may be back to try other menu items next time we want to make a trip to Two Rivers.

We came on a Friday for the fish fry. Even though the Grizzly's in Manitowoc bears the same name (no pun intended), they are two very different venues. Here, they offer a Friday fish fry, and Manitowoc Grizzly's does not, which is why we came to this one. We were surprised to see the sign declaring cash only. The other place accepts cards. We were seated and placed our order. I asked if they had an IPA on tap. They informed me they had no tap and that they only had bottles and cans, and no IPA at that. I ordered a soda. I ordered the fried perch, which was $25.00. My choice of potato was wedges. I asked for hot sauce. They didn't have that either, which was ironic as the condiment caddy had a Tabasco logo on it. The meal came with a salad as well. The quality of the meal is the reason for 3 stars instead of two. The salad was fresh and included a variety of fresh cut vegetables and toppings. The perch was fried perfectly, and the portion was very generous. The potato wedges were light and crispy. The meal came with two small cups of Cole slaw. One was a sweet kale salad, which was good. The other was coarse chopped red cabbage and red onions in a sweet mayo dressing. I didn't care for the strong onion taste. I'll be honest. If I get fish from there again, I'm ordering it to go and swinging by the store to get my preferred beverage and, of course, hot sauce.

The garbage bag covering the air conditioner kind of killed the atmosphere for me. Steak was great lots of mushrooms and onions and cooked wonderfully.

Great atmosphere, great food, a local place that the locals go to. Waitress was welcoming and made the experience better. Excited for the second Manitowoc location.

Super slow service for such a small place to manage. The food was great. I was a bit disappointed with the service. I hope the new location runs

I had heard good things several times before. Some friends and I decided to give it a try as they are branching out to Manitowoc soon. The grizzly cheese steak paired with the onion straws and house made ranch was my selection and I was not disappointed!

Stopped in on a Saturday for lunch, we all had Hamburger baskets. Some had fries and some had cheese curds. The burgers were cooked perfectly with a great bun and fries and cheese curds were excellent. The service and food were both excellent, great job.

The staff was amazing and the food....there are no words. It was so fantastic. Small bar or not this place is worth a stop in or 6. Can't wait for the expansion in Manitowoc.
