Skillet ? should be served on a skillet. Not a bowl. It was good but very little Gyro meat.

Food is excellent, service was good. The retro 50s aesthetic is fun but when we went in there was absolutely no music at all. It was uncomfortably silent which was somewhat awkward, it felt like everyone in the dining room was part of our conversation. What was slightly worse was that it didn't feel totally clean. There were leftover straw rappers and used napkins on the floor under our table which was really unappetizing, though the food was all very good.

Gus’ Diner is a traditional diner experience that really nails it. The food is good, the prices are reasonable and the experience is legit. You’ll forget you’re in a mall parking lot in the 2020s.

Saturday night party of four stopped in around 7pm. The staff was friendly. Club sandwich and broccoli cheese soup - thumbs up. Server said the soups are made in house. Rueben and fries. - thumbs up French toast - thumbs up Saturday pork chop special with 2 pork chops was surprisingly moist and large chops. Grilled just enough for flavor and not too dry.

Went during peak time. Noon Sunday.Nice and fast service. Food came pretty quick. Expected diner atmosphere/experience. Seasoning is on the lighter side so add salt and pepper on your own.
The breakfast was good. Large portions and it seems most meals come with a couple sides. Good price as well. The eggs Benedict has a thick piece of ham which was perfect. I would definitely upgrade the hash browns to the corned beef hash. Service was very good, attentive and food came quick. It was pretty full at 10a on a Sunday. I'd go back.
The restaurant is what you would expect from a throwback diner. And no lies from the other reviews - portions are huge. Had the clam chowder, and I think I got a quart sized bowl. The chowder was pretty good - definitely not from a can. The perch was 8-10" in size with a flaky yet not greazy breading. Very enjoyable place!
Delicious...no need to say more.
