Really impressed with the food here. Reasonable prices too. Kung Pao Chicken, beef and broccoli, fried rice, crab Rangoon.

I debated leaving a review for this place for quite a while, but then decided to leave one so someone could be saved from the experience I had. My boyfriend and I went in for dinner, and the restaurant was empty, although getting a handful of takeout orders. We both got bento boxes, and an additional spicy tuna roll to split. When I tell you that the food was bad - I mean literally the worst Asian food I’ve had in my life. The sushi rolls, although were stated “freshly made”, were 100% from the Daniel’s grocery store next door (we went there after to get real food to eat and noticed the rolls look exactly the same, the seaweed salad is probably from there too). The eggrolls were for sure factory made and frozen, then bought in bulk and re-fried. The meat was so chewy we ended up spitting it out. The miso was fine, so was the tea, but that’s kinda hard to mess up. For the soy sauce dishes we were given metal decorative soap dishes that had metal flaking off into the food. The waiter brought out dinner for himself and tried to sit down with us and eat? We told him we’d like to sit alone, so he sat at the table next to us and listened in to our conversation the whole time and interjected? The fried rice was cold white rice that was clumped up with a little bit of soy sauce drizzled on top. It was so bizarre, we wanted good sushi as we eat it often, and I felt like I was being punk’d the whole time I was here. I could not recommend this place less. Also, I’ve looked at the reviews on yelp and one is clearly from the owner/family of - and his other reviews are just 1 star reviews of other Asian restaurants in the area? He seems to just post bad reviews for competition to get more customers, which I find completely immoral.

What a gem of a place, not easily noticed driving by. The server was so friendly and helpful. My Kung Pao chicken was served hot and the rice was served in a beautiful little bowl. I can’t wait to go back there and try another dish.

Horrible! Fried food in spent oil, bad rice used for sushi and stir fry. If you live in the middle of nowhere like this restaurant you may think it's good and that's sad. First and last time customer. Bad good and expensive.

Very good authentic Japanese cuisine. Seated immediately, service extremely courteous and prompt. Waiter was very efficient and friendly. Atmosphere is very cozy romantic reminiscent of Japanese cultures. Amazing hard cover bound book for menu. Just awesome place. You really need to look for place, it's a JEWEL hidden and tucked away. We drove by 3 times, but was a cold November rainy night.

Food has been very good, we loved the string beans, very tasty?. I'm a Cantonese, very picky on beef chow fun, but you can tell they do that very nicely, the wide rice noodle(you can ask for gluten free version, no soy sauce but pepper and salt) they pan fried that good without too much oil like some of the Chinese restaurant. The female owner is a fine art major, that's why everything including the utencils is nicely calculated. ?Veggie egg rolls are a must! They have been running restaurant business for years in Milwaukee, full of experience, I'm surprised they can do a lot of dishes good such as Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, and Singapore noodles.

Rise restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience in Dallas. The restaurant's modern, sleek interior design creates a sophisticated and inviting ambiance, perfect for a romantic date or a night out with friends. The menu at Rise is focused on contemporary American cuisine with a Southern twist, featuring locally sourced ingredients and inventive flavor combinations. One of the standout dishes is the fried chicken and waffles, a classic Southern comfort food with a twist. The chicken is crispy and juicy, while the waffles are light and fluffy, and the maple syrup adds the perfect touch of sweetness.Another favorite dish is the grilled pork chop with black-eyed pea succotash and mustard jus. The pork chop is cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat inside. The black-eyed pea succotash is a unique and flavorful side dish that complements the pork perfectly, and the mustard jus adds a tangy and savory touch to the dish. The service at Rise is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. The cocktail list is also impressive, with creative and delicious drinks that are expertly crafted.Overall, I highly recommend Rise restaurant for anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience in Dallas. The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch, and I look forward to returning to Rise for another amazing meal.

Excellent food and ambience!! Ordered Gyoza for appetizer. Was a crispy, deep fried dumpling which was very well cooked. Our choice of Kung Pao chicken for entree turned out to be great. Also ordered Singapore Shrimp Noodles. This was the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend it. The owner was very friendly and kind.
