What a great impulse find. Their food hit the spot and was very tasty. Staff was supper friendly. Salsa was delicious and food came out very fast for we were there when it wasn't that busy.

Sol De Mexico is one of the restaurants in Wind Lake town. It has a nice atmosphere, neat seat, and delicious food. It is good to enjoy your gathering with your family or your friends.

Good service. Ok flavor. I ordered the Sol Burrito with pork. The meat was overcooked and fatty, but had a decent flavor. Portion size on the burrito was excellent. They only gave a small portion of beans with rice, which again was overcooked and dry. Price was fair.

I really love going to this place. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is amazing! Sol de Mexico will always make sure you have a wonderful experience. During lunch and dinner time, before your food arrives, you are given free chips and salsa which is always a treat. They also serve fried ice cream with lots of toppings. The price for the ice cream is great since they give you so much and it has delicious toppings too. They have an wide range of dishes to choose from on their menu. If you bring your kid and their picky you can always order them the grilled cheese with fries. Speaking of their fries, I absolutely love them! They have something on their menu for just about anyone. Give Sol de Mexico a try! I bet you'll love it!Vegetarian options: They serve several types of salad or meat-free options such as their Papya Salad. And if you wanted a salad they have that contains meat you could ask for your salad without meat and they most likely can do that for you.Parking: There is plenty of room to park most of the time. Unless they are extremely busy. The only time it was a little hard to find a parking spot was on Father's Day. I assume this was because people were taking their dad out to eat.Kid-friendliness: They do allow children in to the restaurant. However, I have never seen an infant there so I don't know if they have highchairs or not. They have several options for kids on the menu such as grilled cheese and fries. I believe they have a kids menu for ages 12 and under.
