“I had the Corn-beef Hash Soup. It blew up my mind. It was so so good! Plenty of potatoes, carrots and corn beef chunks. Yum!! I'll go back for more! Our thin crust Wisconsin style pepperoni pizza was delish as well. Mr. Spanky's, the owner, approached to us to say hi and to check if everything was ok. He told us that they will be opening their new location in May. It will serve them well because it's a popular local place. I hope they keep Corn-Beef Hash in their menu. The bar area was busy. Payne was very attentive to the crowd. Spanky's had great live music - Andy Carrols very good duo. Plenty to do in this neighborhood Bar and Grill. See you soon.“

“Just moved to Waterford from the Milwaukee Eastside. Food was fantastic. Service was very attentive to our needs and wants. Paige was awesome!!! She made sure that I had a accurate schedule so that we knew when to come back. And yes, we will be going back. All around great place!“

“We decided to host my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at Crossover on June 30. I called a month ahead of time and laid everything out that we needed and they met and exceeded everything we asked for. Food was amazing, our waitresses kept everything moving and the bartenders kept us all hydrated no matter what we ordered. Service for over 50 I’m sure wasn’t easy, but they made it look easy! “I really love going to this place. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is amazing! Sol de Mexico will always make sure you have a wonderful experience. During lunch and dinner time, before your food arrives, you are given free chips and salsa which is always a treat. They also serve fried ice cream with lots of toppings. The price for the ice cream is great since they give you so much and it has delicious toppings too. They have an wide range of dishes to choose from on their menu. If you bring your kid and their picky you can always order them the grilled cheese with fries. Speaking of their fries, I absolutely love them! Unless they are extremely busy. The only time it was a little hard to find a parking spot was on Father's Day. I assume this was because people were taking their dad out to eat.Kid-friendliness: They do allow children in to the restaurant. However, I have never seen an infant there so I don't know if they have highchairs or not. They have several options for kids on the menu such as grilled cheese and fries. I believe they have a kids menu for ages 12 and under.“

“About 15 minutes outside of downtown Lake Geneva, this is a hole in the wall burger joint. My family and I love coming here for a casual meal and are always fully satisfied. The homemade chips are DELICIOUS! They pair nicely with any of the burgers on the menu. They also have a French onion dip for the chips that elevates them even more. The mozzarella sticks are also very good.“

“four and a half stars really... knocking off that half star bc i only give 5 full stars to complete standout/shout from the rooftop places. everything was good here - service, ambiance, food. the menu covers it all - mexican and tex mex plus all the margaritas and cocktails. really no complaints! the food is good, again nothing memorable but good enough to spread the word. our server was extremely attentive and personable and food came out fast. this is definitely not a typical mexican restaurant - it really is a pub with mexican food... with a bit of biker bar feel ;) lots of character!“

“After a day trip to Milwaukee, we wanted a good hearty meal. My brother found the smokehouse and we all agreed to try it. There was bar seating, regular dining and outdoor dining as well as TVs with sports going on. It feels like a great family restaurant but also a great place to hang with friends. There were lots of great beer options, all Wisconsin based beers. The food options were amazing and very big portions. Our waitress was great and checked on us throughout the meal. They have a variety of BBQ sauces on the table for you to choose and try out. I loved the Jalapeño bbq sauce that was in the mix! We were all too stuffed to try any dessert“

We split the Divine B it was beef, caramelized onions, and candied bacon with our choice of two sides. The split it for us! The bartender was attentive, sweet, and talkative. Very welcoming! “Thursday night with a friend. Drinks were very good, food -amazing! Chef recommended I try the scallops over mushroom ravioli with browned butter. Absolutely amazing! The scallops were perfectly seared, the ravioli was delicious and tender and the butter sauce was rich and flavorful. My friend had the rib eye steak with potatoes and Brussels sprouts, she could only eat half! We will go again!“

I have never had service this good. Granted, the dining area was a little funky with cardboard boxes stacked on chairs, and our food came in carry-out boxes with a styrofoam plate, but the food itself was wonderful and there was SO MUCH of it. While we ate we listened to people come to grab their carryout order and we listened to the kitchen staff scrambling around. It was so much fun!
