Came for lunch and got the shaved beef sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was delicious. Tender meat, lots of flavor, and perfectly cooked fries! I'm excited that my new office is nearby to frequent the Red Rooster for lunch!

We visited for the fish fry. We had to wait 50 minutes to be seated. The fish was very good. We had the potato pancakes which were good but slightly on the burned side. The place was very busy and very loud. We didn't talk much because we couldn't here each other. Some of the customers had a bit to drink and bumping into us as we ate. I recommend doing the take out and avoiding the crowd.

They would not honor my slot payout.They could not payout and told me to come back. When I came back, they told me the ticket was invalid.I lost 120 dollars.I will not be back.Edit: I never told anyone I was from out of town. I’m not a liar and have no reason to lie. Our meal was comped and the server wasn’t tipped because we were kicked out after my friend asked the owner why she wouldn’t honor the ticket and she proceeded to completely lose her temper and tell us to never come back. The ticket did not state that it had no cash value and it did not have any sort of expiration date. When I won, I was simply told they couldn’t pay me and to come back another day. We were near the end of Covid so it wasn’t too much of a habit to eat out. I simply went back the next time we ate there. Oh well, the truth is the truth…
