Food was good. No table service because of the "thing".Place your order at the bar, bartender did a great job of getting drinks, bring food etc. Atmosphere is nice, historical pictures of the Waukesha area. Several Irish beers to choose from Smithwicks is a favorite.

Limited menu right now. Limited staff as well, so limited seating and service. Bartender is fairly nice. Place is clean. Eating at the bar poses no real problems as there is plenty of room. Food was pleasant. I'd recommend this place.

Love all the food, stay at the hotel when I'm in town so I can enjoy it even more. Very good place

The Clarke Hotel was kind enough to support a charity with a $149 certificate for a night’s stay for the silent auction. What an awesome way for “locals” to explore the amazing accommodations! The room was comfortable, and the shower had five shower heads! We were quite impressed with the complimentary breakfast of quiche and Kringle, two meats and a croissant! Now I can say from personal experience: The Clarke Hotel is a NICE place to stay in Downtown Waukesha!

We have dined here a few times, and we never leave hungry. The food is delightful and beautifully presented. The staff is attentive, and David, the chef, is personable and so much fun. We'll definitely be back.

This was a great experience! Staff was doing everything possible to be responsive and available even though they were short handed. Highly recommend the Leek and Mushroom pasta. So good, I was disappointed I couldn’t finish it.

A very enjoyable evening meal at the Five Points Pub. Cozy atmosphere and staff that we friendly and efficient. The Rueben Rolls appetizers were done to perfection. The Fish & Chips were very tasty and the portions were healthy. Would certainly recommend this establishment.

This was an interesting place to stay, to say the least. It was a little bizarre. The Pros: Location. I was in town to see a friend in a show at the Civic Theatre and this was right down the block. The Steaming Cup was next door and it’s a fantastic little coffee shop. Comfy beds and pillows. A glorious shower with multiple shower heads and super hot water. Free breakfast in the pub in the morning. It was a little haphazard but the food was tasty and it was very welcome before driving 6 hours home. The rooms had robes and coffee bars and fridges. Friendly staff! The Cons: The street noise was so loud. It was a Saturday night and there were just groups of screaming people until about 130am. The smell. My goodness. The place smelled like rotting sewage. No one mentioned it so I assume this is normal for them? It wasn’t as bad in the rooms but it was definitely noticeable in the lobby, the hallways, and near the toilets. My room was smaller and more inconveniently located (on the 3rd floor but the elevator didn’t go to the 3rd floor) than my friends room and my room cost more. They would not honor the special price listed on their website. The odd hours. I had to call about 4 times to finally reach someone to make a reservation. They kept telling me they were closed and to call back later. The rooms are a bit dark and dated. The bed skirt was all torn up and trailing all over the floor. There was a pillow on the floor and the bathroom drawers were open. The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. The Weird: This place is a maze. The elevator only goes to to the 2nd floor and then we had to wander around to find the stairs to the 3rd floor. Nothing made sense and it was just twists and turns and random rooms. We were cracking up because we kept getting confused. Again, the sewage smell. Honestly, what was that?! They have free parking. But they provide it in the most bass-ackwards way. You have to pay the $3 to park when you leave, but they just charge $3 less on your room bill. The parking structure machine even said “insert card or coupon” - surely in 2021 they could come up with some kind of coupon system to by-pass this. We were even told “if it won’t let you out, just hit the button to call for help” and that was not reassuring. ? Luckily, we made it out! Anyway. Overall this was a cute little place to stay. It was an adventure and I’d definitely stay again. The cons are nit picky things and I was up late anyway so the street noise was fine. We had a good time and as it turns out, downtown Waukesha is an adorable little town with good coffee and good food!

Our waitress was wonderful! She was the only server, explained the scenario and we were fine. The bartender was underwhelming. I guess he was doing the best he knew how to but after ordering multiple Irish beers we had someone who wasn't particular about brand ask for a light beer. The kid was clueless. Asked for a Michelob ultra... and he had no clue what we were asking for. I get it, Irish bar. We had several Irish beers... but the one domestic was the monkey wrench. Food wasn't exciting, but wasn't bad. Salmon salad was really salty and we threw it out. Nothing "wrong" with our visit but wouldn't go back.

Not sure why I went back the second time. I thought an old hotel above a pub was quirky and charming. But when my room wasn't cleaned the whole stay, no fresh towels, and trash cans not emptied, I should have known better. Add the fact that you can't park your car in front of the hotel, they don't have a valet service, the front desk is in the bar/and the bartender, and you can't access the hotel until the bar/restaurant opens...the charm faded quickly. The rooms are dark, the decor is dated, the towels are paper thin, the place doesn't feel clean, and the noise from the nightlife is unavoidable. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the beds are very comfortable. So, if you want a cheaper priced hotel and comfortable bed, this will do. If you are looking for luxury, convenience, service, cleanliness, and customer service, this is not the place.

The Clark hotel says it’s a smoke free hotel but you need to stay away from rooms 201 and 202 as they are in close proximity to a bar next-door that allows smoking and then smoking permeates your room so while you’re not allowed to smoke you get to breathe the smoke of the folks from next-door if you’re in room 201 or 202 the hotel staff is aware of this issue and while you sign a document saying you want smog there’s nothing you can do if they don’t have other rooms available. The room them selves are quite large and quite well appointed with all the bells and whistle‘s you expects of a boutique hotel just stay away from 201 or 202. in addition the breakfast which is free is worth the price you paid for it - you’ll probably want to go somewhere else

We were antiquing in town. Waited ALL day for this place to open. The bartender that actually worked the bar was great, not super friendly but he could pour a PERFECT black & tan. While waiting for our meal the server (does not work in the bar, TO BE CLEAR DAVID THE BARTENDER & David the server are 2 different people) David (he's the one here wearing a Queen hat & not Not appropriately dressed for the environment he works in) was constantly complaining while pouring a pitcher for a customer in the dining room. I simply said "you're doing a great job" because it appeared he had a rough night. His response to me was "I know", to which I replied... "when someone offers you a compliment, the normal answer would be thank you", admittedly I was quite annoyed by his demeanor. His response to me was "who are you to determine what the appropriate response is". Wait what? I'm the customer attempting to diffuse a negative situation & you act like a j**** The food is amazing & drinks on par.. staff sucks. I didn't come here to be insulted, nor should you.
