It’s a small place with a big impact—some of the best Indian food I have had anywhere, let alone in Wisconsin. The shrimp curry was on point and the Indian Village Built Naan was an absolute treat! So savory and balanced. To top it off, the staff are all phenomenally friendly and attentive!

First off, the restaurant is small and cute! Love the atmosphere and how relaxed I feel. The staff are very friendly and offer a ton of suggestions if you aren’t sure. The food tasted amazing! My partner had the goat curry and I had the chicken Saag and a few of the breads. Everything was presented wonderfully and beautifully. You can tell they do take pride in their work. My only gripe I have is for the price, I don’t feel the portion matches. Especially for the area they are at. Like the goat curry only came with 3 small pieces of goat. The chicken Saag I thought had enough protein in it, but think it should be a couple dollars less for the portion. Otherwise everything else was great and would probably eat there again. One thing I would like to see is they have a vegetarian appetizer, Hakka noodles. I wouldn’t mind seeing that as a main dish option with a meat option for it. Sounds delicious!

Butter chicken, lamb shahi korma, naan, Indian village built naan. $56.35 with tip. Ordered to pick up. It was ready 10 minutes before they said. Glad I got there early. The food was good. Be careful eating the lamb. Ours had several bones in it.

Tried the new Indian Village Restaurant in waukesha and loved it!! I should have taken more photos but the food was so tasty, the atmosphere was adorable and the service was so sweet and helpful. If you haven't tried yet, would recommend. They have a full menu, bar and even take out and drive through. Great place to have in waukesha for some tasty Indian food.
