Easter brunch was not worth $30. We were seated on the train area, the very last booth that was crammed together and we struggled to get in it. The table was sticky, no tablecloth on our table, unlike those around us. Dirty in the train area. Towels on the floor, no one clearing tables. Very dirty wher we sat. Extremely hot. Difficult to get back and forth to the buffet.

The building and surrounding grounds are in need of repair. We were sat at a booth adjacent to one of the old train cars. The roof was leaking a brown liquid in two different spots directly onto the table. When we pointed out the obvious puddles on the table that were splashing us, the waitress shrugged her shoulders, apologized and brought rags for US to wipe up the table and set down under the leaks to soak up the brown fluid. The interior needs a deep cleaning and repainting. The exterior was not much better. Old train ties that were originally stacked up to separate parking from the sidewalk were disintegrating and spilled onto the sidewalk. Its like the owners don’t care to keep up the restaurant. The food is overpriced and just meh. The staff were friendly at least. But many better options available in Waukesha.

La Estacion's "Taco Tuesday" was muy, muy Bien! Patrons can choose from a variety of proteins: chicken, steak, barbacoa and shrimp to name a few. I choose the chicken and my friend had the ground beef. The tacos came with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and choice of shells. The food was so tasty and just $2/each! How affordable! Agustos was our server ? and Tony the owner even stopped by to make sure our food was satisfying - FOR SURE! We ended our meal with cinnamon and sugar tortilla wrapped cheesecake. So tasty - a perfect way to end the perfect "Taco Tuesday" lunch ?! Muchas Gracias!

This will be our new Go-to place. The food was outstanding. The service was top notch, and the place is just cool! The fajitas were so flavorful and the steak was super tender. They have, by far, the best enchiladas, and the queso was amazing.
The food was good and the wait was very short. The only issue I have is that they charge for bowls of chips after the first one. I’m in for margaritas and I have to pay for another bowl? That’s a quick way to kill my margarita appetite.

Love how Wisconsin does a great job restoring old buildings into repurposed venues. La Estación Mexican restaurant is yet another example of that. An old train station made into a Mexican restaurant. Monday dinner was quiet and pleasant with smiling faces and great service. Had the La Estación Fajitas which was a mountain of 3 types of meat on a sizzling iron cast pan. Great place for a casual meal or a date.

This is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. Great for families, though the volume occasionally gets too loud to permit easy conversation. Some of the best margaritas around but the new glasses are quite a bit smaller than they used to be. I really enjoy the authentic dishes like menudo and whole tilapia. Staff is very friendly. The desserts are perhaps the only downfall...they're not bad, just commercial and unremarkable, but the tres leches and horchata are quite good. You'll likely be so full that won't matter.
Great food in a super fun place. The service was good too.

Great food! Sat at the bar, the bartender was very attentive. Drinks were made very well, and the shrimp quesadilla appetizer was delicious. It was a little chilly since we were by the door, and the outside door was open for some reason.
