I only go here when my parents ask me to, but the last 3 times I went there has been a problem. The first was that we had purchased candy here for a birthday party and after passing it out, our guests informed us that they were all moldy. We had bought them the day before. I went to return them so I could show them to them and it took us coming back 3 times before we got a refund. The second time, they were about to charge me for 1 additional item that I didn't have, but I found out before I paid so they fixed it at that time. Today however I bought 12 pastries and was charged 13. I went back in and asked for a refund, the lady asked me if I just wanted another piece of bread, which I declined because I already had what I needed. This must have upset her as she had to refund me and proceeded to give it back to me in small change. Honestly, it didn't make any difference to me, but if you're going to get mad at people for asking for a refund when you overcharge them, make sure you get it right the first time.

Visited this morning based on the urge to find a good local bakery for baked treats. First - it smells amazing when you walk in. Second- this is way more than a bakery but a grocery store as well with authentic Spanish cuisine and products. I don’t speak Spanish but the woman to help me called a coworker who speaks English to help me. Everyone was very kind and helpful and I chose a handful of bakery items though it was tough to choose because they all looked amazing. The best part for me is I chose a couple items for which I had no clue what to expect taste/flavor wise but they are amazing! It’s like a beautiful surprise. I’ve also found my nudge to learn some Spanish so I can come back again and engage in more conversation with these amazing people.

We've only come here on weekends for the tamales, champurrado and pan dulce. Without a doubt it's been the best around. They sell out fast so make sure to go early or call ahead to reserve.

Great menudo soup on weekends.

Tamales!
I do recommend las Carnitas (saturday morning), you can make tacos or tortas with them, they are so good
