Several years ago my brother and I failed to make Thanksgiving dinner plans for the 2 of us. We drove all around Waukesha looking for an open restaurant with lights on.We came upon Pat's and inquired if they were open. They were not, they were celebrating a private family meal. However, they invited my brother and I in, gave us "to go" containers and let us help ourselves to the buffet. Oh, and we got the most delicious peach cobbler too. It was a most interesting and heartwarming experience of community in Waukesha. The true meaning of Thanksgiving. ❤

Pat’s BBQ is different. It’s what every bbq restaurant should try to be.The ribs were succulent and rich; the sauce, potent and delicious.I thought it couldn’t get better until I reheated the sandwich I took home. Wow.The meat and sauce is what makes this restaurant the best bbq I’ve ever had.

LOVE the food! Wait times are a bit long, but the food is worth it. It is hard to find without signage at the moment, but keep looking.

Best ribs in town. I wish they were open more days. You must try the spare rib dinner. It is the best. Try the sweet corn as well.

LOVE this place. It's such a hole-in-the-wall treasure that has a dedicated following for a reason!! The owner works there whenever I come by and is very personable to every customer. The last time we came by it was 5-ish on Friday night and we waited for about 40 minutes for our to-go order but we didn't call ahead either.It sucks that they're only open 2 days a week but I think they're being smart about how much they're able to do with their current staffing numbers. My favorite sauces are for sure the Brown Brown and Special sauces, definitely give them a try.The building itself is missing business signs for each rental unit unfortunately but it is WORTH the search and they currently have a banner to help you find it. Can't wait to see how they grow their business!

My girlfriend and I had been on a this try a new BBQ place every week kick. For years I've heard how Pats is the best around so we finally tried it. Catfish was okay. Ribs were okay. Sauce mediocre. I definitely wouldn't tell someone you have to try it, but I also wouldn't tell anyone not to go there. It was just Meh.

I wish I could give this 5 stars because the food was delicious. HOWEVER, it was NOT worth almost an hour wait for to-go when they were not that busy. A bit over priced as well.

Amazing barbecue! Good selection of house made sauces. The fried okra is really yummy along with their sweet corn nuggets! Pulled pork has no fat. Ribs are tender.

More expensive than I had anticipated. But over all it was good, the sauces and the sweet corn bites were exceptionally awesome! The meat was less flavorfull than I had hoped but otherwise it was a great experience. And the food came out so quick!

Can’t express how happy I am Pat’s is back Fridays and Saturdays 11-7PM! I have been waiting every day since they closed down to order again. My fiancé and I live right around the corner and we came right in once we drove past and saw the open sign was lit up. Food was as amazing as we remembered. Thank you so much! ❤️
