Stopped in on a whim because it looked authentic and interesting. Even though, from the outside, it looks like a simple strip mall food court, inside it looked and smelled like a great little Mex Restaurant. Even though there were only a few patrons in there, the food took quite a while. One of the waitresses was in training, so we always give extra patience and support for those learning. We are fairly patient individuals, so did not bother us too much, especially when you find out it was all freshly made and not pulled from a freezer and deep fried. My Cicken Chimi was fresh and tasty with fresh nicely chopped lettuce, onions, peppers, and the like. My son’s pancakes, over easy eggs, and sausage were perfect and not greasy. All in all, will be returning to this secret spot to try something else.

I was excited to try this place with 4.5 stars but I was a little disappointed. First off, there was no one else dining at 8:25pm tonight? Kinda strange, but whatever....Chips and salsa were free, as expected, and decentI ordered a $10 16oz lime margarita on the rocks... It was VERY watered down and I was SO tempted to complain but due to their lack of clientele I felt badThe 3 hard shell tacos with chorizo were also underwhelming, and I didn't even finish them, which is rare for me. The taco shells tasted stale, unequivocally, and the chorizo had too much of a vinegary flavor. I'm a HUGE chorizo fan and this was the worst I've had in a long time. I was not expecting the several day old refried beans and rice... I could've done without both although the rice was okay with it drenched in fresh salsa.Update 7/27/2023: tried the food again and the tacos and chorizo tasted better this time. However the service was below average as the waitress was on the phone the entire visit.

Spent $40 last night for a DISGUSTING meal. Dry, unseasoned beef. Weird-tasting ground beef. Greasy. Nasty. Never again!!!!!

Food is very good and service is generally good, however, they seem to have irregular and sporadic hours. Just attempted to pickup a carry out dinner for taco Tuesday at 7:25 pm on Jan 3, and they were already closed!!! No sign or explanation on the door, just closed!

We have been here many, many times and every time, the food is great! Breakfast or Mexican, they do both really well - favorite pancake in Waukesha! My son loves the mexican rice and asks for it every time.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu and are super nice to my son everytime we go.Parking: Lots of parking in the lot right in front of the location
