This restaurant is CLEARLY under new ownership. It USED to be reliable for good service and fresh vegetables. I had a free sub voucher for purchasing $25 in gift cards before Christmas. The voucher expires on 1/31/24 and says it is valid at Subways where gift cards are sold. When I went into this Subway on East Sunset Dr. there was a gift card display. When I asked if they would honor the voucher, they told me NO. I pointed out on the voucher that it should be honored and they still said NO. Upon further inspection I noticed the lettuce was brown and the cucumbers were dried out. It appears they use old product. I definetly would be afraid of the freshness of the meat. I also noticed the customer ahead of me ordered a 6 inch sub that looked to be under 5 inches. My guess is they cut the new 15 inch subs into thirds. I walked out without making a putchase. No doubt, I will never enter this restaurant again. It is a real turn off.

Very poor customer service! They refused to honor 2 vouchers for free 6 inch subs provided to me by the previous owner for an order mistake! The employee tried telling me that the vouchers were a scam!!! Unreal SMH! I also placed an online order for pickup at the same time, and had a turkey foot long with double meat and EXTRA oil. There was no extra meat and NO oil. After my experience at the restaurant, I deemed that it would be pointless to call and complain, so I just ate the loss, but unfortunately will not return to this location again under this owner, and was reminded of EXACTLY why I have not been to Subway in almost a year! Sadly, this location has really gone downhill since the new ownership took effect almost exactly one year ago.

The waukesha south location limits what you can order when using a corporate coupon. Ask for black olives and they put 3 on. Very small amounts of cheese. All costs go up and they reduce what they give you. All done with these locations and recommend you do too. The other sunset location is even worse

The person checking me out charged me for "extra bacon" on a my sub that comes with bacon by default. All they would do to make it right was offer me a small soda that I didn't order or want. If you do eat here be sure to double check your total before you checkout, they clearly aren't above trying to rip you off.
Will never go to this store AGAIN!! I had NO cheese, no spinach leaves.. owner/ manager is rude. Not very friendly store like it used to be.. since when do they use SHREDDED cheese? Nope.. never again go there..Try to complain.. good luck... >:(

i did the curbside pick up. food was good. however i did not appreciate the way the guy spoke to me when he brought my food out. i did the curbside because i have a dog that doesn’t do well in the car alone. the guy was hard to understand due to his accent and speaking so fast. but i could tell that he was complaining that i placed my order while i was sitting outside instead of coming in. if i didnt have my dog with me , i definitely would’ve gone in. don’t have the curbside option if you’re going to complain. especially when customers are unable to come in. it really upset me.

I order from this same Subway almost weekly. Staff is friendly and they usually have my online order ready by the time I get there, even though I live right around the corner. No complaints about the amount of anything in the sandwiches. It’s much better than any other Subway in the area.
