The gold nugget isn’t a fancy place but it’s honest, tasty, authentic, spirited, funny, joyous, and irreverent… the food is simple and satisfying. I had a “Chico” with “tots”…it was delicious!
Best bar there is in Waunakee. Great burgers made fresh with beef from the butcher down the road. Go on Sunday for a great Bloody Mary made by Cheryl or Marci.Parking: Parking is slim in most instances out front along the highway. More parking is available in back.Wheelchair accessibility: Not necessarily wheelchair accessibly. I little work would need to be done to get in the establishment.

We were in town from St Louis to see a badgers game. It was getting late and we were hungry. Found this little gem. Great place for fun music and great drinks. Although we went for some food, we got there too late. 4 Fireball shots later...we didn't mind.
