I've been wanting to go here for sometime. Love the atmosphere and all were very pleasant! How and what they served was pretty clever and unique! So glad I finally made it with a friend, who also was her first time!

If there ever was a culinary oasis in the heart of Wausau, it's undoubtedly this gem of a restaurant. From the moment you step foot inside, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace from a beloved grandmother.Despite arriving just before closing time, the staff welcomed me with open arms and genuine warmth. Their dedication to ensuring every guest feels not just welcomed, but cherished, is truly remarkable. It's a rare find in today's fast-paced world, where efficiency often overshadows hospitality. The service here is not just attentive; it's heartwarming. Each interaction feels like catching up with an old friend, with genuine smiles and a willingness to go above and beyond to make your dining experience unforgettable. I didn't get their names but Grandma sounds and feels so fitting. And then there's the food. Oh, the food! Each dish is a testament to the chef's skill and passion for culinary excellence. Every bite is a symphony of flavors, carefully composed to tantalize the taste buds and leave you craving more. From the first bite to the last, each dish is a culinary journey that leaves you utterly satisfied yet longing for another visit. I'm actually headed back today just to experience more.In a world filled with cookie-cutter restaurants, this place stands out as a beacon of authenticity and genuine hospitality. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience—a journey into the heart of culinary bliss that will leave you counting down the days until your next visit. If you're in Wausau and looking for a dining experience that transcends the ordinary, look no further. This place is nothing short of extraordinary.Thank you for standing out and making me feel welcomed and at home. Not only with your great service but a perfectly made home cooked meal that rivals Grandmas cooking.

This must be one of Wausau's best kept secrets! The service, food and ambience of this restaurant is exceptional. The owner and staff are friendly and attentive making the entire dining experience memorable, that said we will be back.Worth mentioning, there is a City of Wausau parking lot right next to the restaurant and gallery.

Bad for health

Empleyee(male) was very rude and admitted that they store "fresh" vegetables in a bathroom

Fun place, family run and friendly. Excellent Cuban sandwich with extras. I highly recommend you take the time to chill and get to know the staff.

I had a very tasty BLT salad which was loaded with bacon and nuts. The atmosphere is delightful as the dining room is decorated with much art- in fact the dining room is surrounded by galleries of art and antiques and crafts.
