We were brand new to this establishment on Saturday afternoon, and were received and served by a bartender so angry and confrontational that we left out full, paid for drinks, on the bar, and walked out after 5 minutes. Ownership/management, you have a serious problem.

First and last time we will ever go to this place. The bartender, although skilled and hustling behind the bar, had a HUGE chip on her shoulder about something. Even my husband noticed, and it was seemingly directed at me, as we were sitting directly in front of her pouring station; she was just angry. We get our drinks and are just into the first sips when the bartender who is making other drinks stops, looks directly at me, steps back, and says, "WHAT?" My husband and I are shocked at the unprovoked confrontation from the bartender. I replied that "we were just watching you hustling and getting it done." Soon, a man comes and fills the ice and asks how's it going. Stunded, we tell him not good, and tell him we must have done something to "put off" you're bartender, and what just happened. Before he can really reply, here comes the bartender, and I say the same thing to her "I don't know what I've doneto put her off". Her reply was "everyone was putting her off today", and walked away. We sat there for a moment longer, my husband looked at me and said let's go. We in and out in less than 5 minutrs, left our full, paid for drinks sit, and exited the bar in disbelief.

The Perch fish fry is the Best I have in Wausau, and the French fries are also I promise are unbelievably seasoned to perfection!!

Pretty cool bar. DO NOT play pull tabs or "fingers". Games are rigged. Went 0/40 on each. RIP
