The traditional wings are great. The pork nachos were really good. The door county cherry Lemonade was smooth and yummy. The old fashioned are really good also.

This was my 3rd time going and the 2nd time was 5 star dinner a month ago I go back this past week disappointing would not recommend . Food took awhile I ordered a burger. Burger was dry overcooked. I had ribs my second time terrific but This time bad and will not return . So disappointed.

I don't drink alcohol But have no fear they served me ginger beer while I enjoyed the atmosphere. The bar sets in the back alley way a few blocks from the police station in whats called one of the schetchest neighborhoods in the beautiful city of Wausau they say I say not at all.Vegetarian options: Bloody Mary i think made with tomato juice is all I can tell yous

I would give five stars on the food, but we had to send the wings back twice because they were underdone. Staff was friendly, Restaurant was super clean. Great atmosphere. Will go back there again next time I'm in town. Just a little bit more time on the fried food in the fryer would have been good. This is really a great place to visit in Wausau.

Whistle Blower and French toast was disgusting and terrible. Not sure if the cook knows what he was doing. Not a restaurant quality food anymore. Been here many times before for the brunch and this was just not good.

A lot of good things to say about this place. Came in from out of town for an event and needed a good place to watch the game. They put the game on for us. They turned the sound on for the game too which isn't always a given at a sports bar.The owners were the ones actually serving us all day and they were nice, super attentive and their recs on food and drinks were spot on.We tried a bunch of food and everything fried was awesome and done right. The batter was delicious and the sauces were on point. This is a place that has a hot sauce for wings that is actually hot too. They had a delicious ghost pepper sauce that wasn't too hot but they also had one that would light your face up with some actual flavor.I didn't actually end up playing but it looked like they had free pool too which I love so there's a ton of reasons to stop in. Highly recommend.

This place knocked it out of the park. The owners are so attentive. When we arrived 4 minutes before they opened, they opened the door and made us feel like family. They turned on the sports game of our choice and fed us well. Take their cocktail recommendations! Eat the food! You can’t go wrong here! We highly recommend Hiawatha sports bar! They know what they are doing. Bob can mix! Chris can cook!
