Why this place has such a good rating is beyond me. Just walking in the door, the smell alone was reminiscent of a 90 year old bachelor’s pad. Went to use the restrooms first…didn’t. Each stall someone laid something to rest and it’s still decaying. We departed quickly. Hate to think what horrors await in the dining room.

Wasnt sure if i was going to get my correct food! I say this because she didnt write down anything but she pulled threw. For being a hotel bar I thought it was very good overall. I like that bar was quiet and calm. So we had the Swiss Mushroom burger and the Monster burger and they were fresh and juicy. Thought the presentation of the food was clean. We liked that they left the toppings on the side instead of letting them get soggy on the burger. Would recommend trying the burgers at this establishment.

Restaurant had nice furnishings and lots of entertainment. Great seating with spacing, waitress was friendly and confident. Bartenders could sell you a drink if you could vision it.

Attention vendors, entertainers & DJ's.......if you're considering working with this establishment, be advised they did not pay after a recent (2-5-22) contracted dinner show performance. Showed up, set-up, performed my contracted time, loaded out and when it was time to settle up, no payment from management that had absolutely dropped the ball in promoting the event in the months leading up to the night of performance. Approached ownership in a professional email after the event to settle the matter amicably, but was met with no effort to square the debt. As a nationally touring act, this sort of low ball behavior is extremely rare in over 20 years on the road and sadly, a black eye on the Wausau business community which has always been terrific to deal with in years past. Hopefully this can prevent others from experiencing a similar situation.
Sat at the bar for 10-15 minutes and had multiple bartenders look at us and we were never served. Food looked decent, but didn’t feel ignored, felt unwelcome.
