I went here to celebrate a birthday and both bartenders Frank and Brittney were extremely friendly and sociable !! Food was available quickly and a great value !! I would highly recommend this historical establishment !!

I do have to say I enjoyed working at pollackin so very much. The customers are regulars that we would have daily and clientele we're just awesome. I remember lunches got quite busy most of the time was just bruising myself tired it was one of the most enjoyable jobs I had. The food is very good nowadays though some of the workers are pretty stuck up and snobby I think they don't realize one day they're going to get old too. And truthfully I can't believe that they're not open for lunch. It's a shame how this generation is no respect for the elderly no respect for anybody lazy now let pollackin was a great place and a great business too bad you messed it all up what a shame you shouldn't have don't know what hard work really is

GO get the new Polish menu!!! Wow everything was amazing! Homemade gravy, homemade rolls, homemade noodles/dumplings, soup MADE TO ORDER(?!) this is amazing food especially for something off the usual menu around the area. Go get it! Can't beat the price either

This small pub, with an excellent vibe, hosts some of the most intimate rock and roll shows in wausau! Although I myself don't drink, the friendly bartenders have always treated my friends and I kindly, and we have good chats. The other room, where they put on these small rock shows, has an intimate punk rock vibe, with stickers of band who have performed there plastered across the front of the small stage and other trim in the front of the room. I always have a good time here!

First of all, the building is beautiful! Great on tap beer selection! Amazing food! Very friendly staff! The fish fry came with a cup of soup and the homemade chicken soup brought a tear to my eye as it was just like the soup my Polish mother made. This place is a treasure! We will be back!
