“From the gargantuan Oak Tree that shades the parking lot to the abundance of wildlife in the surrounding marsh and lake...you feel at home in nature. Walking into the resturant feels like you're visiting friends for lunch. The Sunday broasted chicken was some of the best I've ever eaten. The Bloody Mary bar had every pickled veggie you could ask for...and eggs and bacon! Worth the stop, worth the drive! We drove 50 miles to eat lunch. We will do it again!“

“We were there for Friday night fish fry. We were a party of 12 on the waitress’s first night. Service was excellent! The food was outstanding, and portions were above average! Atmosphere was great! More than enough seating with a peaceful lake view! The cheesy clam chowder soup could possibly be the best soup I’ve ever eaten. I wish I would’ve taken some pictures. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend! And we will definitely return!“

We recommend it and tell friends about this place often. Hideaway has become our new favorite place to go for food, drinks and fun! The bartender, Connie, even dances while she works behind the bar.
