My kids and I had an amazing time in Open Canvas! We each chose something different to paint and shared an awesome couple hours with the phones put away enjoying each other and a painting experience. So much fun! I have also just stopped in for drinks with friends and had a blast. This place is a hidden gem. I will be back!

We had a blast on Friday night for the "Cosmic Night" painting session! The class was super fun and the drinks were tasty - We had some hot ones which was great because it was chilly and snowy out. Side note: There was a winter storm that night and it was nice that someone called during the day to ask if we would be attending or if we wanted to move our registration to a different class due to the extreme weather. We chose to attend and are so happy we did. We will be back!

We did love know this place. It was a nice place for a date, tha music was so cool. It was our first time painting and it was so fun. There is a lot of images and sizes for paint. The drinks taste so good.

Recently attended an open painting session at this little gem of a place in Wauwatosa. SO MUCH FUN !!! Between the laughter of our complete failure as artists and the flow of cocktails, we were hoping the night would never end! Our bartender/hostess Kelly was a hoot!! Super funny and a pleasure to be around. Definitely will be telling our friends about this must go to attraction!!!

We had a great time with our table of 5 for a self directed paint event. Why I wouldn't recommend is you will be required to pay 18% gratitude. I am not opposed to tipping I am opposed to being told I must tip. We did a self directed paint and sip and required and received no help with this self guided tutorial but we were required to pay gratitude. I did point it out to the buisness that the website stated this was only for party's of greater than 6. The response I received was from the owner that their policy is an 18% gratitude for everyone, but I was reimbursed because the website error. Our table of 5 did a self guided painting and did not receive assistance. We ordered drinks and paid an appropriate tip for the part bill as expected for this service. Just a buyer beware...if you plan to make a reservation you will be charged gratitude for services you might not expect. It was fun to be with family in a creative space but there are other local paint and sips that do not require you to pay gratitude for self guided classes.

I brought my husband here for a date night on a Friday evening for one of their classes. The class was a lot of fun! My husband enjoys both making and looking at art, but I'm definitely a beginner. The class was enjoyable for both of us. Our instructor took us through each step of the painting. It was a little fast sometimes, but I understand we have a limited amount of time. She did come around occasionally to offer help and answer questions. While our final paintings didn't quite look like the model, we still had a fun time! The drinks were fairly decent as well. My husband had a drink with hot cocoa, coffee, and Rumchata which was very cozy and would be a perfect fall/winter drink. I had the Elderflower Sparkler which was sweet and fizzy. We also had Dirty Paint Water shots, which we both said tasted like dirty paint water...but in truly the most delicious way! We would definitely come back either for a class again or just to paint on our own.

Extremely disappointed. We had booked this earlier in the day to take our Mom as a gift. A few hours later my sisters dog had to be taken to the ER. We called (still well before class) to request that our funds be transferred to another night. Originally they thought it would not be an issue given the circumstance, then received a call later stating that they refused to accommodate and said we would be charged in full and attend that night as they had a 48 hour policy. Even though we booked only 8 hrs earlier. We were not requesting a refund, but a transfer to another night. I had never seen such poor customer service. We are now out this money and would not consider attending to pay for a second time.
