This is a must stop pizza shop. It was possibly the best pizza . The pineapple pizza with the hot honey was fantastic .

We ordered delivery (order#22) and the pizza would be great if the crust wasn’t absolutely burnt. The toppings and sauce have great flavor… but it’s drowned out by the burnt taste… both our pizzas and the bread are just gross to be honest.

Flour Girl & Flame on Wednesdays is a MUST. The Detroit style is to die for and always leaves enough for leftovers the next day.

What a cute little shop. VERY homey, farmhouse style decor. They have one table that seats eight which they call their "Community Table," and the rest seat 2-4 people. If there is a wait for a table, they have a cozy couch area for comfort. They've really created a wonderful atmosphere. The service was outstanding. The young lady providing our service was so friendly and kind. They've cultivated such a warm ambiance that even when there was a glitch, all was right with the world. Being my usual brainless self, I have forgotten her name. I really need to start WRITING them down. I get so involved with the food that other details get pushed aside. Shame on me.Speaking of the food. SO delicious. Wednesday is their Detroit style night and the people who ordered pizza loved it. One ordered the Baddie, and two split the War & Pineapple. They are large and like me, the one who ordered her own, loves leftovers. I didn't go with pizza. I dined on two appetizers instead. The Loaded Focaccia Sticks, and the Bourbon BBQ Wings. The sticks are just amazing. They are LOADED with pepperoni. Little ones, but LOADED. They come with marinara for dipping but no need for it. The flavor is so good that I found the marinara actually detracted from the wonderful flavors already included. The wings a really meaty. No baby chickens used for these. The sauce has a little kick, but not too much. I like bleu cheese as a dipper with BBQ wings, but they only have ranch. Hang on. They have several different types of ranch - even have a flight so you can try multiples. I opted for the peppercorn and it was just a fabulous combination with the bourbon BBQ wing sauce. I only ate half of each item and brought the rest home, along with dessert: BB Cakes Brownie with a scoop of Mint Chip. Very rich. Had a few bites before bed. Can't wait to do this again for dinner tonight!Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options available.Parking: At 5:45pm I got the space directly out front. Our last person to arrive at 6:05pm was parked directly across the street.Kid-friendliness: I think this would be a great place for introducing kids to a more gourmet style pizza with a build your own option to include those ingredients they prefer.Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see wheelchair access as the main entrance is a set of stairs. It is located in an older build that has been remodeled for the restaurant. Now that doesn't mean they don't have another entrance that I just wasn't paying attention to. A simple phone call should answer that question for you.

The pizza was great but our server must have been new because she couldn't quite keep track of what she was doing. They seemed to have only one shaker if Parmesan cheese for the entire place and one napkin dispenser. They didn't have any ice for the room-temperature cans of sodas. They couldn't connect a few tables to accommodate our large group of hungry dudes (20 of us) we were scattered all across the joint, even though we called ahead and had a reservation.Vegetarian options: We had only two guys who went vegetarian.

The food is great. First experience was perfect. However sometimes a restaurant needs to determine if it can handle online ordering or not. This restaurant cannot handle online ordering and should stop offering it until it builds up it's capabilities to do so. Online order said it would take 60 minutes to be ready when it was actually over 90. Currently in the very small waiting area with 12 other frustrated people.

I ordered a Detroit style pizza special (hot pepperoni on the rocks with a twist) and garlic Parmesan wings and had a spiritual experience. I ate it after a 15 min drive home, and the ingredients are so quality and the crust is so good that it felt fresh out of the oven. I have declared this Detroit-style pizza the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. The flavor and crisp on the crust is to die for, and the creativity behind ingredients is stunning. I am not a big wings girl (my partner ordered them), but I had one— the wing meat was juicy and the garlic parm sauce was ridiculously good. And we ended the meal with a delicious Carrie’s Crispy. They carry different desserts from local Milwaukee small businesses, and they have a great variety. Do not sleep on flour girl and flame!!?

Had this for the first time yesterday and it was excellent. Topping proportions were spot on and the crust was amazing. Highly recommended that you give it a try. Only regret is we live so far away so this can't be a "regular" for us. Bravo Flour Girl and Flame.
